We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tylee Personett a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tylee, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I didn’t wake up one day with a lightning bolt moment of “this is my purpose.” For me, it’s been more of a spiral. A constant return inward, a shedding of deeply ingrained old layers, and an honest, yet compassionate listening to what my body, my intuition, and life itself were asking of me.
I grew up believing purpose was something you chased, like a finish line. Or this certain path of steps you “have” to take to succeed. But the more I tried to “figure it out,” the further away it felt and I found myself lost. It wasn’t until I started practicing yoga again, studying holistic wellness, and eventually stepping into the role of teacher and coach that I realized: purpose isn’t found in the future, it’s lived into every single day.
My purpose revealed itself in the small moments of resilience. I’ve taught myself to rebuild after burnout, choosing moments to nourish my body when it would’ve been easier to ignore it, and finding the courage to trust my inner guidance – especially when logic told me otherwise.
Each breakdown became a doorway. And then a breakthrough. The practice of self-care has become a practice of self-trust.
Resilience and self-care are what allowed my purpose to take root. Without nervous system regulation, rest, and boundaries, I would’ve stayed in the loop of exhaustion and doubt. But with those practices, I gained clarity, confidence, and the ability to lead from a grounded, authentic place.
Now, my purpose feels less like a career title and more like a way of being: to see you, to help others remember their wholeness, to guide people back to themselves through the Whole-Body Wellness Blueprint framework I’ve created, and to model what it means to live aligned, resilient, and well. Purpose, for me, is not a single destination, but a daily commitment to embody what I value most – being the best version I can be every single day.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
My family is at the center of everything I do, and much of my work has grown alongside motherhood. Being a mother has taught me to live the practices I share, not just teach them.
I serve as a Whole-Body Wellness Coach, yoga teacher, and guide for people who are seeking to feel more at home in themselves. The way I move, nourish, reset, and connect is shaped by both the needs of my family and my own devotion to staying well. Those rhythms have become the roots of my work, and they help me hold space for others with presence and compassion.
My approach blends nervous system support, embodiment practices, nourishment, mindset, and intuition – not as separate pieces, but as a whole. What excites me most is seeing someone begin to trust themselves again, finding practices that feel aligned, sustainable, and true to who they are.
My work has become an evolving ecosystem, with spaces for inspiration, offerings for deeper self-discovery, and gatherings that bring community to life. The common thread is the belief that wellness can be accessible, grounding, and deeply nourishing.
What I hope people know about my work is that it isn’t about striving for perfection or quick fixes. It’s about remembering your own inner wisdom and learning to care for your whole self in ways that feel both simple and meaningful. My role is to guide, support, and create space for that remembering to unfold, and I’m honored to be here.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, I’d say the three qualities that have carried me the furthest are trust, adaptability, and a deep commitment to embodiment.
Trust in myself, in timing, and in the process has been essential. There are so many moments along the way where clarity doesn’t come right away. Learning to move forward with self-belief and faith, rather than fear, has allowed me to keep going even when I couldn’t see the full picture.
Adaptability has also shaped my journey. Life shifts, families grow, careers evolve, unexpected turns happen. Being able to adjust while staying aligned with my values has helped me sustain both my work and my well-being.
And embodiment, truly practicing what I teach and living into my own wellness, has been the foundation. It’s one thing to learn ideas, and another to integrate them into the body, the breath, and the way you move through daily life.
For anyone just starting out, my advice is to nurture these qualities slowly. Build trust in yourself by celebrating small wins and honoring your intuition, even in small ways. Practice adaptability by letting go of rigid timelines and learning to see change as an opening rather than a setback. And embody your path, whatever it is, by bringing your practices into your own life first. When you live your work, it becomes magnetic, and the impact naturally grows from there.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Collaboration has always been such a beautiful part of my journey. I deeply value working alongside people who are rooted in integrity, creativity, and a genuine desire to support whole-body wellness. I especially love partnering with other healers, wellness practitioners, teachers, or creatives who share a vision of bringing people back to themselves in a grounded and accessible way.
For me, collaboration doesn’t need to be overly complicated, but intentional. It’s incredibly rewarding to co-create a workshop, and share space in community, offering and weaving together different modalities to create something new and nourishing. I believe that when we combine our unique strengths, the work becomes even more impactful and sustainable.
If this resonates, I would love to connect. The easiest way to reach me is through my website or on Instagram, where I share most of my current offerings and updates. My door is always open to meaningful, heart-led collaborations that serve the greater good.
