Meet Tyler Woodall

We were lucky to catch up with Tyler Woodall recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Tyler, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I had went through pursuing “success” that the world typically defines, money and freedom. One day I was sitting in a jeep on a Safari, and I was reflecting on how I wasn’t as happy as I thought I would be. I had build a business that could run without me, I had freedom, and I was making lots of money, but I was not happy. I spent time reflecting on the most joyful moments of my life, and they had been moments of service (mission trips). I also decided that life wasn’t meant to be spent alone, so I needed to make some changes on my personal life

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I own a company called C4 Solutions. We staff virtual assistants for businesses around the US. We help business owners to create SOP’s, automate their business, and then scale it on autopilot.

I am an avid traveler/ adventure junkie. I have been to 30+ countries, and am constantly looking for new places to visit.

My focus now is helping people to define what success means for them, and move them towards a life of their dreams.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

1. The book: The E-Myth. Teaches building SOP’s in your business
2. “Start with the end in mind”- Go after good business, not easy money
3. “Don’t tiptoe through life to arrive safely at death.” – Don’t be afraid to take risks

Be intentional about defining what your dream life looks like. Exactly. And then back into what it would take to live that life. Then make a roadmap to get there

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?

You are the thermostat for your company. Spending 1 on 1 time, regularly, with your leadership team and key members is so important. Spend time with your best customers, as well. It is all about relationships.
