We were lucky to catch up with Tyona Bowman recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Tyona with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Without a doubt I would have to say ballet and my mom. Both taught me so much discipline in my craft and to never give up. It definitely prepared me to have a successful future!
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Acting and entertaining is my life! I started out as a multi-genre dancer and gradually took on other talents as I explored the possibilities of the industry. That is what people say “sets me apart” I created my own way of entertaining the masses and showcasing my skills by making Stainless Cinema LC ( my film company ). We are actually in production for a short that was written in collaboration with my fellow actors of Sanford Meisner’s Playhouse West Acting School.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
A stronger understanding on the true value of time, Consistency is key.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’m learning that wearing multiple hats only hurts a production and so it would be nice to team up with other filmmakers to bring stories to life. So, if you’re a camera operator, director, grips/gaffers, sound mixer, focus puller etc etc, please don’t be afraid to hit me up!
