Tyrese , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

When I first started shooting, I was most insecure about posing! I feel like most new photographers have this problem, but I honestly feel like my confidence has just grown with experience and exposure. I find myself confidently directing models into poses without even thinking about it! Pinterest is also a great place to find and study poses!

Hey y’all, I’m Tee Shotz. I am a portrait lifestyle photographer. I love making moments into memories. My work is special to me because, I am allowed to celebrate with many of my clients. Whether it be a birthday or simply a business headshot. Photos are something to celebrate!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Throughout my photography journey, I have learned that it is ok to fail but not to quit! I also learned that confidence can make a difference on the success of a business. When you walk into a room and, own it everyone there is going to feel it! Also, I have learned to never delete images. I say that because, people pass away. I had a client from the first year I started shooting message me looking for images 4 years later. I actually did have the images and, it meant a lot to the family!

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I am looking to collaborate with more photographers and models. I want to surround myself with successful and creative minds like my own. Networking is so important because you never know who you can connect with.
