We recently connected with Tyriq McNeil and have shared our conversation below.

Tyriq , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I find my purpose through trial and error and having faith into God. Without God wasn’t be here where I’m at today.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

My name Is Tyriq McNeil, I’m raise in Florence, South Carolina but born in Portsmouth, Virginia. I own an video production company called Zmoovy 4 Lyfe Productions, which we dedicate our focus on bring our clients vision to life through memorable photos and remarkable storytelling videos. We were established in 2024, when we got our LLC. Zmoovy 4 Lyfe Production came about when I was an artist and had the name Zmoovy Riq. Couldn’t afford to do a music video so I want to do my own. So as I was doing research to see if I could go to school or take a course and that’s when I came across First Institute and went to school for Digital Filming and Video Production. Once I enroll and really got deep into school wanting to do music video for myself out the way and being an artist as well. Since I got book for my first gig when I noticed I could turn this into a business and add value to individuals, businesses, and brands. Since then learning about the business and got books on different things made me realize what I really want to do, which is documentaries for businesses/brands and individuals. But we also do event photography, Corporate headshots, and commercial. The exciting thing about this business is the storytelling behind every client who books us for whatever service they book for. We focus on the storytelling and how we can better enhance our client story through our creativity. As far as what’s coming up we are starting our own series called ‘Life Within The Vision’ It’s going to be me uncovering the journey and stories of companies, Brands, Visionaries, and as they navigate their challenges and define their success in a world of constant change.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The three most important qualities, skills, and areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey which we still live by are the three C’s; Community, Confidence, and Creativity. I believe everyone who starts their journey whatever they try to do lives by the three C’s because you want to build a community around what you’re building, gain confidence in what you’re building, and be creative in what you’re building by forming your style and going your own way.

How would you describe your ideal client?

My ideal client our businesses/brands and individuals that are confident enough to tell their story that will bring value to the world behind their story.
