Tysen, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
“My main goal is with every paint brush stroke I can inspire the community, families, and students to live their highest life condition.” This is what fuels my unbreakable work ethic, It’s my passion and my mission.

Tysen Knight is an international artist, muralist, screenwriter, director, and award-winning filmmaker. Knight uplifts himself and many other inspiring artists with his incessant passion and resilience. His generosity permits him to inspire and help many people. He has an admirable ability to express emotions, conflicts, and complicated feelings through his art which is rare to witness. Through his documentaries, Knight delivered an inspirational story about all the endeavors and dedication required to achieve goals and dreams and shed a positive light on street art. Knight has won numerous awards for his artwork, films and philanthropy.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
In a world that often marginalizes and overlooks the disenfranchised, my three qualities, skills and advice is to stand as a symbol of hope, breaking barriers and shining a light on the unseen. Your gained knowledge should be a testament to the transformative power of art and the indomitable human spirit, exemplifying dedication, empathy, and an unwavering pursuit of passion. Everyone’s personal success and outcome will be different but, just as impactful.
Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
My philanthropic work! I recognize the transformative potential of art, I have channeled my resources to nurture the next generation of artists. The Tysen Knight Scholarship Fund, established in collaboration with the support of generous sponsors, supports aspiring artists across the Globe. This initiative echoes my conviction in the power of nurturing young talent and unwavering commitment to community enrichment.
