Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Vae with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

I developed my work ethic from watching my amazing mother ! After divorcing, she was a single parent and although faced many health issues she still made things happen for myself and my siblings! She faced many health issues however she did not let that stop her! She was a very resilient woman, and I believe that I am the same. Having a strong and supportive, upbringing matters! She supported every dream and go that I wanted to reach. My children are also my inspiration! I am a mother of four my children are ages 13, 11 two and one month old! I’ve made many mistakes and I’m far from perfect. However, everything I do is for them! They are my driving force to do better to become better. I love what I do! As the saying goes “ if you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life” ! This is not my first rodeo as an entrepreneur, however, this is what I’m most passionate about! I have a heart for people and I love creating a one-of-a-kind experience for individuals, no matter the occasion. I work hard, and I’m very passionate, one day this will all pay off! I hope the world gets to experience Chef Vae Parice!

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am a celebrity private chef, and business owner! I am the proud owner of Tastes By Vae LLC! I am a chef for all occasions and life events. I’d have to say my favorite service is doing elevated brunches! Each one is custom and tailored perfectly for each client. I love seeing the outcome. I was taught that people eat with their eyes first(Charmaine Wilson) , and that has driven me to create a one-of-a-kind experience! Furthermore, the food taste amazing and it warms my heart when people enjoy the full experience!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Faith!! You have to believe before you see! Also, while believing you must also put in the work! It won’t be overnight, it’s hard work! There are many days that may be lonely and stressful. Don’t give in and don’t give up! It will all pay off in due time!

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

Be supportive! Having that support from your parents means everything. Not only that being amazing examples, and being open to sharing their life experiences! Giving advice on what can guide you to be better and do better!
