We recently connected with Vancho Djordjevski and have shared our conversation below.
Vancho, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience comes from my child hood. At a very young age I always stated to my self “if someone else can do something so can I”. I have never been known to quit at anything. Even if something goes wrong, you can always learn from it. Learn, adapt and move on. Its human nature to bounce back. Everything negative can be turned to a positive. Its how you adapt that makes you stand out from the rest. Bouncing back from difficult expericiences makes you the person you are physically and psychologically.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My name is Vancho Djordjevski, I was born in a small village in Macedonia. My parents immigrated to Canada in the seventies. With just suitcases in each hand we came from nothing. My parents taught me to work hard and you can accomplish everything.
My definition of working hard is quite different then my parents. My father worked for Ford and my mother was a chef. I could not imagine working in a factory or a restaurant, that is not me.
I wanted to create a legacy for my kids and grand kids. I wanted to create a company / product that will disrupt current technologies.
I did not want to creat a company with multiple competitors. I know competition is inevitable. But I wanted to develop a new innovation and technologies yet to be seen.
So I built Inguardia Health from a napkin sketch. I researched for several years how utilizing the saliva is far more superior then skin monitoring devices. Skin devices are not completely accurate. Saliva is. So I formed Inguardia Health.
Inguardia Health has the capacity to analyze / monitor / track and predict vital health metrics utilizing oral interfaces powered by AI. We can analyze 100’s of different vital health parameters at your finger tips with remote access. We collect and monitor the data with customized alerts for serious health concerns.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
My three qualities are 1. Ambition 2. Perserverance 3. Knowledge to learn anything.
Before getting into the oral device market, I had no experience. But I have been in business development / sales for over 20 years. So learning something new was a challenge. My thought process was If i don’t know something, I will educate myself.
My mentality is, take chances in life, if you don’t, someone else will do it for you. So I took a chance on myself and I built Inguardia Health.
I get challenged daily with problems and issues, but the key is never give up. Rome was not built in a day. That’s where the perserverance comes into play.
The best way way to improve on any goal is, set daily reminders in accordance of priority and importance. Set daily, weekly, monthly, yearly achievable goals and stay focused. Don’t get discouraged if does not go as planned, revaluate your plan and restructure.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I have always been a firm believer in karma. What comes around goes around. Im always looking to connect with like minded individuals.
Networking is an exceptional way to gain knowledge and advice. I love surrounding myself with optomistic peers. If anyone needs my help in any topic, Im willing to share my knowledge and what I have learned over the decades.
Launching a company is no easy task. It requires extensive knowledge and capital.
I have extensive knowledge in the following to just list a few.

3. Inventing technolgies
4. Writing Patents
