Vanessa , thank you so much for making time for us. We’ve always admired your ability to take risks and so maybe we can kick things off with a discussion around how you developed your ability to take and bear risk?
I have always been a risk-taker—whether it was moving to another country, taking on challenging jobs, or pushing myself to succeed in unfamiliar roles. My curiosity for learning and my drive to challenge myself have always fueled my growth.
In May 2024, I took the biggest risk of my life: I started my own business. I had no roadmap, no clear starting point—just a passion for creativity and a vision to bring unique experiences to life. On May 1st, I celebrated the opening of my company as if it were already a success. I acted with confidence, believing in its potential before it had even taken off. This mindset kept me motivated, pushed me forward, and reminded me that success begins with the belief that it is possible.
It all began with a simple audio guestbook. I first saw one at a wedding and immediately thought, How can I elevate this experience for the person purchasing this activation? I dove into research, invested $400 in my first phone to ensure top quality, and soon after, I had another idea: creating highlight videos to capture the most memorable moments from events. This wasn’t just about fun—it was about preserving emotions, building connections, and making every occasion unforgettable.
As my business grew, so did my vision. I introduced a Perfume Making Experience for events and workshops, designed to bring people together in a meaningful and creative way. This idea was inspired by my own journey—years ago, I learned how to make perfume in Paris, and that experience became a core memory for me. The joy, the artistry, and the uniqueness of that moment stayed with me, and I knew I had to bring that same feeling to others through my business. Now, I create immersive fragrance experiences that allow people to craft their own signature scents while making lasting memories.
This spring, I am debuting my Strolling Caviar Bar Experience—a concept born from my fascination with the elegance of caviar, the way it is served, and the ritual of its enjoyment. I wanted to give people the opportunity to experience opulence, even if just for one day. My offerings range from affordable packages to the most prestigious, ensuring that everyone has the chance to indulge in this luxurious experience. The creative in me wants people to make art out of every experience, because the best moments are worth remembering and sharing.
What started as a small business quickly evolved into something much bigger—an experience company dedicated to luxury activations that make life’s most important events even more special. My creative journey is far from over; I’m constantly innovating, and I envision my company expanding even further in 2025.
None of this would have been possible if I hadn’t let go of the past—of people and circumstances that held me back. In 2021, I made the difficult but necessary decision to walk away from anything that hindered my growth. The saying is true: You are who you surround yourself with. I am grateful to have met influential, supportive people who believed in me and helped me pave my way to success.
And through it all, I’ve learned that failure is part of the process. Bad days will come, but better days are always on the horizon.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
As the founder of a luxury experience company, I am passionate about creating unique and unforgettable activations that bring people together. From immersive Perfume Making to the soon-to-debut Strolling Caviar Bar Experience, my goal is to blend creativity, elegance, and meaningful connections. Beyond my business, I am deeply committed to giving back, supporting organizations like Voices for Children, Autism Speaks, and The Magic Hour Foundation because I believe that true growth comes from uplifting others. Looking ahead to 2025, I have even more exciting and innovative experiences in the works—but for now, I’m keeping those a secret until they’re ready to debut!
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three qualities that were most impactful on my journey were curiosity, openness, and persistence.
First, tune into the child in you and stay curious. As we grow older, we sometimes lose that natural sense of wonder and the desire to ask why or how. But staying curious keeps your mind fresh, creative, and always ready to learn. Be open-minded about thoughts and ideas—sometimes the best breakthroughs come from perspectives you haven’t considered.
Second, take meaningful advice from others and write it down. It’s easy to get caught up in our own thoughts and limit our understanding, but there’s always something valuable that others can teach you. I’ve learned that listening, reflecting, and jotting down key insights can be a game-changer, especially when navigating a challenging path.
Finally, execute your ideas—don’t just let them sit. If it fails, that’s okay. The most important thing is that you tried. I never want anyone to look at me and say, “She gave up.” I will always push harder, try again, and ensure that my vision comes to life.
Along the way, it’s essential to RESET when needed. Take the time to recalibrate and refresh. And never forget to say yes to opportunities—they often lead to doors you never expected to open.
For those early in their journey, I would advise them to stay open, trust the process, and never be afraid to take action. Success is built on perseverance, learning, and executing with purpose.

I’m passionate about creating core memories within my community and want to ensure that every experience I provide is meaningful and impactful.
