Meet Vanessa Young

We were lucky to catch up with Vanessa Young recently and have shared our conversation below.

Vanessa, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Finding my purpose took a long time, atleast, that is what it felt like. I discover a bit of my purpose each day! A huge part of my purpose came to realization when I connected by current business to the dreams I used to have as a child. I always dreamt of helping people and sending love out to the world. Then, it felt like such an unrealistic goal. I remember feeling like it was so unreachable because “love” is not a physical item that one can felt. I remember these thoughts being in my head ever since I was a little girl.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I help women step into their unique essence & arrive right at their heart space so they can live the life they desire & deserve. I do this by being unconditionally supportive and encouraging to my clients. I absolutely love helping women find their voice, call back their power and even turn their deepest pains into their greatest strengths. Witnessing women step courageously into their own story is why I do what I do.

I host virtual events via zoom as well as in person events locally.
I’m honored to be able to offer group events, 1 on 1 sessions as well as mindfulness at work for other businesses!
Keep up with events by visiting my website or my instagram!
You are certainly welcomed!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three of my top qualities or skills in this area of my life that certainly does help me stay focused and successful are; 1. Active Listening
2. Integrity
3. Being open to different perspectives

My advice for those that are early in their own personal journey is to.. Stay focused on your goals. Give yourself space to rest, relax and take a step back so you can have a wider perspective. Lastly, continue to try. change is good! It is okay if you switch it up a few times until you find what YOU actually LOVE.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I currently am looking for mindful, self aware individuals to collab with! If you are a yoga instructor, a sound healer, mind coach (many different types), astrologist, HD ect. Please reach out to me! I would love to talk! Info@humbledandjoyous.com
