Meet Veronica Antich-Fjeld

We were lucky to catch up with Veronica Antich-Fjeld recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Veronica, so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?

For me, self-care is all about traveling. It’s the one thing that allows me to fully disconnect from my day-to-day responsibilities and truly recharge. When I’m exploring a new country, meeting new people, and immersing myself in different cultures, I feel like I reset my energy and creativity. I rarely go back to the same place twice, so each trip becomes a fresh source of inspiration.

Traveling has a direct impact on my effectiveness as a full-time real estate agent. Every time I come back, I’m re-energized, motivated, and ready to serve my clients even better. And let’s be honest—traveling also reminds me why I work so hard. If I want to keep getting on planes, I need to keep selling houses! That connection keeps me driven and focused.

My travels also make me a more well-rounded Realtor. I love paying attention to architecture, design, and housing styles in other countries—whether it’s Portugal, Colombia, or Puerto Rico. I even catch myself checking “For Sale” signs abroad just to compare markets. Those experiences broaden my perspective and help me bring fresh ideas, cultural awareness, and global insight back to my local clients.

In short, travel is my reset button. It keeps me inspired, energized, and ready to conquer the real estate world all over again.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I’m a full-time REALTOR® with View Real Estate Group, and my work is the perfect blend of everything I love: people, homes, storytelling, and adventure. What makes my career so special is that it doesn’t feel transactional to me — it feels deeply personal. I don’t just help people buy or sell a house; I help them step into the next chapter of their life. My clients become friends, and their stories stay with me long after the closing table.

Because I’m a travel lover at heart, I bring a unique global perspective to real estate. I’ve visited countries all over the world, and I’m constantly inspired by different cultures, architecture, and ways of living. I use that curiosity and creativity in my work — from how I market homes, to how I understand design, to how I connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. And being bilingual allows me to serve even more families in a language that feels like home to them.

One of the things I’m most excited about is expanding the educational side of my brand. I host workshops and Zoom sessions covering everything from buying a home with different immigration statuses, to estate planning, to investment strategies, to tax questions around selling. My goal is to remove fear and confusion from real estate and make people feel empowered, informed, and confident.

I’m also building out a series called Smart Move Spotlight, where I highlight opportunities in the market for buyers who want value without sacrificing potential. It’s honest, transparent, and designed for the everyday person who wants to build wealth.

At the heart of everything I do is connection — whether I’m teaching, guiding, negotiating, or showcasing a home through video. My brand is fun, approachable, hardworking, dog-friendly, and travel-inspired. I want my clients to feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

And yes… every closing helps fund my next passport stamp. 😉

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three qualities that have had the biggest impact on my journey are resilience, connection, and adaptability.

1. Resilience
Real estate is not for the faint of heart. There are wins, losses, dry seasons, and crazy seasons. I’ve had years where I felt like I was thriving and others where I questioned everything. But resilience is what kept me going. It’s what helped me reinvent myself after setbacks, stay motivated when deals fell apart, and push through moments where I felt like I was failing.
Advice: Don’t expect things to be linear. Build resilience by getting comfortable with discomfort. Every “no” is practice, every obstacle is data, and every challenge is preparing you to handle bigger opportunities later.

2. Connection & Communication
My whole business is built on relationships — truly. Being able to genuinely connect with people, listen to their needs, and communicate clearly has been the most powerful tool in my career. From first-time buyers to investors to families downsizing, people work with someone they trust.
Advice: Focus on building real relationships, not just collecting leads. Practice active listening. Learn to communicate with clarity and empathy. And remember: people may forget the house details, but they’ll always remember how you made them feel.

3. Adaptability & Curiosity
Coming from a travel-obsessed background, adaptability is in my DNA. It shows up in real estate every day — markets change, laws change, interest rates change, clients change. My curiosity keeps me moving forward. I’m always learning: design trends, investment strategies, architecture from countries I visit, even how different cultures approach home and family.
Advice: Stay curious. Learn constantly. Don’t box yourself into one type of client or one small market. The more flexible you are, the more opportunities you’ll see. And don’t be afraid to evolve — whether that means improving your marketing, upgrading your skills, or embracing video and social media even if it feels awkward at first.

If I could sum it up:
Resilience keeps you going.
Connection builds your foundation.
Adaptability opens the doors you didn’t even know existed.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Absolutely—I’m always open to partnering and collaborating.
One of my biggest goals is to support my clients not only here in the U.S., but also in their journeys abroad—whether they’re traveling, relocating, or even exploring the idea of buying a home in another country. Because I’m a travel lover myself, I know how valuable it is to have trusted professionals across different markets.

I would love to collaborate with Realtors around the world who share the same values I do: authenticity, strong communication, integrity, and a genuine passion for helping people. Whether you specialize in vacation homes, international relocation, investment properties, or simply love working with clients who dream big, I’d be excited to connect.

I’m also open to partnering with local professionals who enhance the real-estate experience—lenders, attorneys, inspectors, contractors, stagers, travel experts, or anyone who believes in educating and empowering clients.

If you’re reading this and want to collaborate, the door is wide open.

Let’s help more people feel at home—no matter where in the world that may be.
