Meet Veronica Chiang

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Veronica Chiang. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Veronica , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

How I found my purpose was something that I wasn’t even looking to find. I kept trying to do new things. Kept trying to accomplish what I thought would be my next big break. But as time went on, the more I tried to accomplish that and to find my purpose, the more I failed to know what that was.

But failure was not an option for me, So I kept trying to change my perspective of things and take opportunities as it comes and as of today, I can say, that, that has paid off.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I was a Pastry cook up until my work accident. So my main focus as of now is food influencing. I work with restaurants and companies to promote their business through my food photography and Instagram contents.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Persistence, commitment and consistency. Without these three, the basic knowledge of anything to accomplish my journey will not have gotten me this far.

My advice to everyone early in their journey is to keep on keeping on. Don’t give up when things don’t go as smoothly as you want in the beginning.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

The food community. If it wasn’t for the people I have met along the way in my journey to becoming a true food influencer, I wouldn’t have made it this far. Their constant love and support and encouragement to never give up made me always want to give back to others as they have given to me
