Meet Veronica Gomez

We recently connected with Veronica Gomez and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Veronica, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

Optimism didn’t just happen—it grew. My years in healthcare taught me that even in the toughest moments, there’s always a seed of hope. I saw firsthand how small changes, like better habits or a positive mindset, could transform lives.

When I started Pure Sprout Microgreens, I carried that lesson with me. Planting tiny seeds and watching them grow into something vibrant and full of life reminded me that big results come from small, consistent actions.

Every challenge I’ve faced, whether in healthcare or as an entrepreneur, has been an opportunity to grow. Optimism is about believing in the potential of what’s possible and showing up every day to nurture it.

For me, it’s simple: plant something small, care for it, and watch it thrive. 🌱

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

What excites me most about Pure Sprout Microgreens is the simplicity and power behind what we offer. Microgreens grow quickly, require minimal space, and pack a nutritional punch that rivals fully-grown vegetables. They’re perfect for busy people who want to make healthy eating effortless, and they’re also a great introduction to growing your own food.

What makes us unique is our focus on authenticity and education. I’m not just selling microgreens—I’m teaching people how to grow their own, incorporate them into meals, and embrace a healthier, greener lifestyle. It’s deeply rewarding to see someone’s eyes light up when they realize they’ve harvested their first batch of microgreens or found an easy way to add them to their meals.

Right now, I’m excited to expand with new offerings like holiday gift boxes and STEM learning kits to share the joy of growing even further.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Three Qualities That Impacted My Journey
Resilience, curiosity, and connection have been the foundation of my journey.

Resilience kept me moving forward when challenges arose. I’ve learned that growth—whether in business or life—is about showing up consistently, even when it’s hard.

Curiosity drove me to discover the incredible power of microgreens and to keep learning every step of the way. It’s what pushes me to explore new ideas and stay innovative.

And connection has been at the heart of everything I do. Whether teaching about microgreens or engaging with my customers, building genuine relationships makes this work meaningful.

My advice? Start small, stay curious, and focus on growth one step at a time.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?

Two books have made a lasting impact on my personal and professional development: You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero and The E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber.

Jen Sincero’s You Are a Badass taught me the importance of mindset. One of the biggest takeaways was the power of self-belief—reminding me to silence my inner critic, trust myself, and step boldly into my goals. It’s about recognizing your own potential and taking action, even when it feels uncomfortable.

Michael Gerber’s The E-Myth Revisited completely shifted how I view my business. It showed me that running a successful business isn’t about working harder—it’s about working smarter. Building systems and focusing on the big picture have been game-changers for me.

Together, these books reinforced the balance between believing in yourself and building a solid foundation for growth.
