Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Veronica with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
My father was in the military so instilled in me & my brother hard work discipline and no matter what putting your best foot forward.
I carried these principles through everything I do. My career in the Federal Government to my passion of service where it resignates in my event planning & design business.

Hi I’m Veronica Carmen, a wedding planner & Designer, owner of Visions Events & Design LLC. I’m ready to make your wedding planning and experience a game changer.
Unlike some, I didn’t realize event design and planning was ultimately going to be that dream job I always wanted!
Visions Events & Design is a full service company and all aspects of a one stop shop! Planning, coordination and design. We curate the vision that our clients articulate with careful detail and personality.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
In looking back at my journey & growth, I had to impress on myself to use and create networks to build and take advantage of training classes that assist you in bettering your skill and knowledge of the industry. I stepped out on faith creating those opportunities by making sure I stayed open to them.
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
Who has been most helpful to me? I have been so grateful for the village I have. Starting with my immediate family for their patience as well as helpful hands, and encouragement when needed.
I’ve had mentors in the industry who I am so thankful for and have been instrumental in my growth and advancement within the industry.
