Meet Veronica Nater

We recently connected with Veronica Nater and have shared our conversation below.

Veronica, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
My confidence and self-esteem have been molded through many moments of self doubt. Moments such as being stranded in an unfamiliar town in China, all alone and having no one to call, but still making it home safely. Yes, I lived in China for a couple of months in 2019. I didn’t know anyone and didn’t speak the native language. It was scary, but I quickly realized I couldn’t afford to sit in fear and feed my insecurities. So I was forced to do something I would’ve never done inside my comfort zone: be vulnerable. I smiled at strangers, got lost, found my way, got lost again, asked for help, sounded stupid, embraced the unknown, and ultimately learn new ways of doing ordinary things. This experience allowed me to grow confident in my God-given abilities. I now see challenges as stepping stones that will lead me to something higher. And even though those stones are sometimes slippery, I’ve become certain that I can do hard things and keep stepping upward.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Coaching on the limitless abilities we’ve been given as women to live to our fullest, happiest, and healthiest lives is where my passion is. But it all begins with the small and “insignificant” decisions. As a coach, I help my clients focus and lay the foundation to a long lasting transformation. Everything from your morning thoughts, to eliminating distractions at the dinner table, to using proper form when you walk – it all matters. I’m developing the fundamental program “Strong + Blessed” to help women who are overwhelmed to simply go back to master to the basics. Anyone can google a workout or a meal plan, download it, and follow it for a week. Sticking to it is where many fail. This is because they’ve skipped finding the most important piece of the puzzle: their fundamental habits. I’m proud to have not only done this myself and lost 70+ pounds, but also helped many women achieve life long weight loss success. And I can’t wait to help YOU see how capable YOU are, because this is possible for YOU too!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
There are 3 areas I coach on, which have been the pillars of my own transformation.

1. Growing your Mindset – realizing that you don’t know it all and life is a never ending lesson. We crave stability and feel safe when things are familiar. Therefore, we are resistant to discomfort and often choose to remain the same. The problem is that we cannot grow nor achieve higher/better things while remaining the same. Changing and growing our mind is the most uncomfortable but best way to transform our body. My advice? Prioritize your mind.

2. Fueling your Body – it’s not just about hitting macros and sticking to caloric goals. It’s understanding that the way we fuel ourselves has a direct impact on how we feel, and how we show up in this world. Fueling the most complex and beautiful machine in existence is our responsibility. My advice? Pay attention to how you feel after you eat.

3. Moving your Body – burning calories is one thing, but feeling amazing before and after is goals. Sadly, not many people know how good it feels to have full range of motion and live pain-free. Moving our bodies should feel like a gift. My advice? Honor your body with at least 20 minutes of walking a day.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal client is someone who has said “enough is enough”. Someone whose heart is sure of the need for change but is unsure of the HOW. My ideal client is a woman who has tried endlessly to lose weight by completing the puzzle without all the pieces. Someone who is ready to be vulnerable and learn that those puzzle pieces (although basic) are the hardest to identify and lay down on the table. My ideal client is someone who is ready for a REAL transformation.
