Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Veronica Olga Hernandez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Veronica Olga, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

My self esteem came from checking in with myself during challenges and achievements. The way I treated myself was always connected to my self worth. The measurement I gave myself was an example of how much of myself I shared. What I shared with the world was a reflection of the version of myself that I was connected with. I give myself grace and always do better once I know better. I remain connected to my authenticity and integrity to strengthen and develop what matters most. My consistency with myself and others has shown me my personal power. I have gone as far as documenting these tools to share with others. Personal development and personal power have always been a significant part of who I am to the core. Knowing myself completely is how I continue to develop myself.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

My life has been decided to learning and understanding Behavioral Science. My mother is Paranoid Schizophrenic and growing up my brother and I had to learn everything in our own. Personal development and personal power were a daily discussion between my brother and I. We promised to each other to always share what we had and what we knew. My brother passed away two years ago and through my grieving process, I published Modern Guidance ™️ Book to share our journey and started Sacred United Nonprofit on his behalf. I realized how significant our insight and empowering lessons were and decided to honor him by continuing the legacy he instilled in me as an entrepreneur and innovator. His legacy continues today through Sacred United and our programs..

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Personal Power is most important to me. Checking in with myself multiple times to ensure I remember exactly who I am and what I want. I make sure to never give my power away and get off course. I am always developing a better version of myself.

Self love and self care is essential for maintenance. How we treat ourselves and show up for ourselves is how we feel internal stability. Loving and nurturing myself enables me to always feel supported. I believe that the love I show myself constantly allows me never rely on others approval. Judgment cannot affect me because I know exactly who I am. I work hard to be the person that I am and no one can take that from me. My identity is integrity.

Live with love and not fear. We empower ourselves and others when it’s based off of love. Doing anything out of love empowers us and strengthens us through challenges. Love is always filled with pure intentions. Love is our greatest strength and our ability to connect with others on a higher level.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

Starting Sacred United was an idea that I had as a little girl. I prayed that someday I could help children. Recognizing that I was writing the next chapter of my life hit me hard. Stepping into my life long dream has been surreal. I have silently struggled with anxiety and depression since my brother passed and getting out of bed has been my biggest challenge. I preserve my energy for only meaningful things. Daily I simply do my best and beautiful things are being created. Creative expression is truly mental health support.
