My work ethic stems from a combination of my upbringing and personal experiences. Growing up, my parents instilled in me the importance of dedication and perseverance. They demonstrated that hard work pays off, and that has always motivated me to strive for excellence in everything I do.
Additionally, my experiences in various roles have reinforced the value of commitment and resilience. I’ve learned that challenges are opportunities for growth, and maintaining a strong work ethic helps me navigate those challenges effectively. Ultimately, I believe that a strong work ethic is the foundation for achieving both personal and professional goals.

I’m passionate about building my business Xxotic Essence LLC into an empire. Xxotic Essence focuses on wellness and personal care by curating products utilizing essential oils and natural ingredients. What excites me most about my work is the ability to connect with people through my creations. Each piece is not just a product; it’s a story, an emotion, and a reflection of my journey. I strive to bring a unique perspective that resonates with my audience, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see how my work inspires and impacts others.
One special aspect of my brand is all of my products are handmade, and it is a brand for everyone. . I believe in creating not just for profit, but with intention and purpose, which allows me to foster a deeper connection with my customers.
As for what’s new, I’m thrilled to announce that Xxotic Essence will be hosting frangrance oil making classes, where you will get a brief lesson on blending oils then you will be able to create your own fragrance . This next chapter is going to be exciting, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone!
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Reflecting on my journey, I believe the three most impactful qualities that have shaped my path are creativity, resilience and business acumen
1. Creativity; This is at the heart of what I do. It allows me to experiment with different scents and formulations to create unique fragrance oils and body butters. To develop creativity, I recommend immersing yourself in various art forms and exploring different inspirations from nature to culture. Keep a journal to jot down ideas or feelings that spark your imagination.
2. Resilience -The journey of building a brand comes with its fair share of challenges. There have been setbacks and learning experiences that tested my determination. I advise anyone starting out to embrace failures as part of the learning process. Each challenge is an opportunity to grow stronger and more skilled. Surround yourself with a supportive community that encourages perseverance.
3. Business Acumen; Understanding the business side of things like marketing, finance, and customer relations has been crucial for my success. I encourage newcomers to seek out resources, whether it’s online courses, books, or mentorship, to build their knowledge in these areas. Networking with others in the industry can also provide valuable insights and opportunities.
For those early in their journey, my main advice is to stay curious and open-minded. Continuously seek knowledge, embrace creativity, and don’t shy away from challenges. Each step you take is a building block towards your goals.
Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
Currently, the number one challenge I’m facing is scaling production while maintaining quality. As demand for my fragrance oils, body butters, yoni steams, bath salts and car fresheners grows, it’s essential to find a balance between increasing output and ensuring that each product meets the high standards I set for myself.
To overcome this challenge, I’m focusing on a few key strategies:
1. Streamlining Processes: I’m evaluating my production methods to identify areas where I can improve efficiency without compromising quality. This includes investing in better tools or equipment that can help speed up the process.
2. Collaborating with Experts; I’m seeking advice from industry professionals who have experience in scaling small businesses. Their insights can help me navigate the complexities of growth more effectively.
3. Building a Supportive Team: I’m exploring the possibility of bringing on additional help, whether through hiring or collaborating with other artisans. A supportive team can share the workload and bring fresh ideas to the table.
By addressing these areas, I hope to not only meet the growing demand but also continue delivering the exceptional products my customers love. It’s a journey, but I’m committed to finding solutions that align with my brand’s values.
