Meet Veronica Toscano de Leger

We recently connected with Veronica Toscano de Leger and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Veronica, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I just like to work hard and give it all.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I´m the Government liaison for the state of Guanajuato, Mexico in Georgia.  I love what I do!  I’m very passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and love to help the community that I serve.  We bring resources, programs and documents such as birth certificates, amendments, etc. from the state of Guanajuato to Georgia and all the southeast for the people of Guanajuato.  If someone dies and the family needs to send their loved one back to Mexico or if someone is sick and needs to be sent to Guanajuato for treatment, we help them with that as well. We help with educational opportunities and bring artists from Guanajuato, Mexico to promote the culture and traditions of our state.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Resilience, Courage and Passion.

These are a few personal qualities and traits that we can all strive to embody and bring more success into our lives. We have to slowly build these traits over time.  They aren’t something you just stumble onto and they don’t just happen by chance or luck.  They come from small, habitual changes we make throughout our lives.
The better you perform every day, the more success will find its way back to you.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
God and my family have helped me to stay centered and remain calm under pressure. I know that I’m not alone.  They are always there for me and truly do care about me. They give me the courage I need to be strong and to keep working hard.

Where do you get your work ethic from?

We’ve all heard the phrase “work hard, play hard,” but where does our work ethic
