We recently connected with Victoria Rosas and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Victoria, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
With God all things are possible Let’s just say—purpose found me.
Originally, I planned to work in the criminal justice system. I attended Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut, where I completed my first semester as a freshman. I was passionate about criminal justice, but life had other plans. In my junior year of high school, I lost my father. His passing deeply affected me, carrying over into my senior year and my first year of college. Eventually, I transitioned to online courses, searching for direction and praying for guidance.
One day, after praying and asking God what was next for me, my mother called and suggested I become a laser hair removal technician. At first, I was in disbelief—how could that be possible after everything I had invested in my degree? But with faith, I decided to explore the beauty industry. That led me to the Beauty Institute in Allentown, where I toured the esthetics program—and instantly fell in love. Looking back, I see how everything aligned in ways I never could have planned. My journey into esthetics was unexpected, but it was exactly where I was meant to be.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
At Roses Esthetics, we are dedicated to providing exceptional self-care services that enhance both beauty and confidence. From expert waxing to rejuvenating facials and body treatments, we strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where every client can feel their absolute best.
What I love most about this work is its ability to uplift not just appearances but also self-esteem. There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing my clients leave feeling refreshed, empowered, and genuinely cared for. Esthetics goes beyond skincare—it’s about self-care, self-love, and embracing confidence.
I’m also excited to share that Roses Esthetics is expanding! We now have Janniel, esthetician, bringing her expertise in skincare, and Destiny, a skilled body contour specialist, offering sculpting treatments to enhance natural beauty. This growth allows us to serve more clients while maintaining the personalized, high-quality experience we’re known for.
Roses Esthetics is more than just a business—it’s my passion and purpose. I’m incredibly grateful for this journey and for everyone who has supported it. The best is yet to come!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, three key qualities that shaped my journey were resilience, adaptability, and faith. Resilience helped me push through challenges and setbacks, knowing that every obstacle was a lesson in disguise. Adaptability allowed me to embrace change, as my path shifted from criminal justice to esthetics, proving that the best opportunities often come unexpectedly. Faith was my foundation—I trusted the process even when things felt uncertain, believing that I was being guided toward my true purpose. For anyone starting their journey, my advice is to stay patient, remain open to learning, and trust that with persistence and passion, success will come in its own time.
Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
The most impactful thing my family did for me was their unwavering support from day one. My mother, stepdad, brother, and sister-in-law have been my rock, always encouraging me through every step of my journey. Their belief in me gave me the strength to push forward, even when things felt uncertain. Beyond my family, my community has also played a huge role, uplifting me and celebrating my growth. Knowing I have such a strong support system has been a constant reminder that I’m never alone in this journey, and for that, I’m forever grateful.
