Meet Victoria Warren

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Victoria Warren. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Victoria below.

Victoria, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

Growing up in the Midwest with a strong support system provided by my parents and sister laid a solid foundation for my confidence and self-esteem. Their encouragement and belief in me gave me the courage to pursue my dreams. When I moved to San Diego a few years ago, I carried that confidence with me, allowing it to guide me into new experiences. As I immersed myself in a new environment, I found that each adventure bolstered my self-assurance. Sharing my experiences through my website and social media channels has not only allowed me to connect with others but has also reinforced my belief in myself.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Thank you for the opportunity to share more about myself and my endeavors. By day, I work full time in natural product marketing. Beyond my professional pursuits, I’ve poured my heart into building a San Diego-based blog and lifestyle brand that celebrates everything this vibrant city has to offer.

What excites me most about SD Deets is the opportunity to share the essence of this beautiful city with others. Not being from here originally, I am extremely grateful for each and every beautiful thing I experience.

Currently, I’m creating branded merch with plans to launch a line of products that capture the essence of beauty San Diego living. So far we offer bandanas, trucker hats, and travel accessories inspired by the laid-back beach culture.

I’m also thrilled to have recently started a newsletter, giving me a platform to share personal experiences, highlight favorite spots, and curate tips for exploring San Diego. Plus, I’m gearing up for some exciting giveaways and collaborations with like-minded brands, all in the spirit of spreading the love for this beautiful beachside community.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with readers and fellow enthusiasts, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me next! Make sure to follow along on all the exciting things to come.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Reflecting on my journey with SD Deets, a few qualities stand out as particularly impactful:

Authenticity: Being true to myself and my experiences has been key. My advice for those starting their journey is to stay true to yourself and be as creative as humanly possible. Share your unique perspective and don’t be afraid to be yourself.

Curiosity: Embracing a spirit of curiosity has fueled my exploration and creativity. Always seeking out new adventures and digging deeper into hidden gems has enriched my content.

Resilience: Like any journey, there have been challenges along the way. Resilience has been crucial in overcoming obstacles and persevering through setbacks. My advice is to create resilience by staying adaptable, learning from failures, and staying focused on your goals.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was providing me with the best and most enriching childhood possible. They equipped me with confidence and showed me the importance of pursuing what makes me happy. Their unwavering support and encouragement laid the foundation for me to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and authenticity. I am forever grateful for their guidance and love.
