Meet Vidhi Kshatriya

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Vidhi Kshatriya. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Vidhi with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

My work ethic comes from a deep sense of purpose and the clarity I have about what truly matters in my life. As a mom of two, I wake up every morning at 4:45 AM with a clear vision of what I want to accomplish—not just in my business, but in the way I show up for my family and myself. MELT Naturals was born from that balance: the drive to create something meaningful while staying present in the everyday moments.

I believe in setting clear goals and making them happen, but I also know that success isn’t just about structure—it’s about knowing when to pause and be in the moment. Staying organized is essential, but so is allowing myself to slow down and embrace the little joys of each day.

At the heart of it all, my family is my biggest inspiration. MELT Naturals isn’t just a business; it’s a reflection of the life I strive to live—one that balances ambition with presence, structure with flow, and determination with mindfulness

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

MELT Naturals is more than just a business to me—it’s a reflection of my lifestyle and values. As the Founder, Owner, and Curator of MELT Naturals, I’ve created a brand that focuses on high-quality, natural aromatherapy products that enhance everyday moments. My inspiration comes from my own life as a mom of two, balancing structure with mindfulness and ambition with presence. I wanted to create products that help people slow down, reset, and truly melt into the moment.

One of the most exciting aspects of MELT Naturals has been seeing the response to our thoughtfully designed stone diffuser and signature blend essential oils, which have quickly become our best-sellers. Our stone diffuser isn’t just functional—it’s a beautifully crafted piece that seamlessly blends into any space, making aromatherapy both effortless and elegant. Paired with our signature essential oil blends, designed to promote relaxation, focus, and overall well-being, our products offer a simple yet powerful way to elevate everyday routines.

Since launching sales just two months ago, we’ve had over 100 sales on Etsy, and the love and support from our customers have been incredible. Right now, I’m focused on expanding MELT Naturals with new products that continue to align with our core values—natural, effective, and thoughtfully designed. I’m also working on growing our community, connecting with people who share a love for mindful living.

For those new to MELT Naturals, I’d love for you to experience the difference that intentional aromatherapy can make. Whether you’re looking for a moment of calm, a boost of energy, or a grounding ritual, MELT Naturals is here to help you create that space in your life.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, three key qualities have been most impactful in my journey with MELT Naturals: discipline, adaptability, and intentionality.

Discipline – From the very start, I knew that if I wanted to build something meaningful, I had to be disciplined in my approach. Waking up every morning, setting clear goals, and following through—these habits have been the foundation of my success. For anyone early in their journey, I’d say: treat your goals like commitments to yourself. Build a daily routine that supports your vision, and stay consistent, even on the hard days.

Adaptability – No journey is ever linear. There are always challenges, unexpected turns, and moments where things don’t go as planned. Being able to pivot, learn from feedback, and adjust my approach has been crucial. My advice? Stay open to change and be willing to learn as you go. Every obstacle is an opportunity to grow, and flexibility will allow you to navigate the ups and downs without losing momentum.

Intentionality – I built MELT Naturals with a clear purpose: to create products that encourage mindfulness and balance in everyday life. I make decisions based on that vision, whether it’s product design, messaging, or how I engage with customers. For anyone starting out, ask yourself: “What impact do I want to make?” Let that guide your decisions and ensure that every step you take aligns with your bigger purpose.

No matter where you are in your journey, my biggest piece of advice is to trust the process and stay committed to your vision. The results don’t always show up overnight, but with discipline, adaptability, and intentionality, you’ll build something truly meaningful.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

I don’t often get the chance to talk about my parents, but so much of how I view and run my business is because of them. My parents immigrated from India with three small children, no education, and no money—but what they did have was grit, resilience, and an unshakable work ethic.

Within months of arriving in this country, my dad found a creative way to partner in a business, showing me early on that success isn’t always about having resources—it’s about resourcefulness. My mom also started her own small business while supporting my dad, balancing hard work with determination. Growing up, I watched them build something from nothing, and that shaped how I approach everything I do today.

My siblings and I weren’t the kids whose parents were always in the bleachers cheering at our games. Instead, we understood that their priority was putting food on the table and building a future for us. They may not have always been there physically, but they were always there morally, teaching us that sacrifice, discipline, and perseverance lead to opportunity.

Even today, I carry their lessons with me. My parents worked incredibly hard so that my brother, sister, and I could have a life where we don’t just survive—we dream big. They always told us that if they could achieve what they did—with no education and no support—then we, with all the education and opportunities they gave us, could accomplish anything.

Their journey is the foundation of my mindset, my business, and my belief that nothing is out of reach when you’re willing to work for it.
