Meet Viki Christman

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Viki Christman. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Viki below.

Viki, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

Growing up, I always felt everything really deeply. Especially when it came to animals. As I got older, I started to understand just how much cruelty and destruction exists in the world especially toward animals. Now, with so many ways to spread the word, it feels more possible than ever to make a difference. Social media has been huge, it’s helping me reach people, raise awareness, and turn empathy into action. Using my voice online became a way to speak for those who can’t.That’s how my purpose took shape. I can’t fix everything or stop all the animal cruelty out there, but I can try to raise awareness and get my voice out there. If I can help even one animal or open one person’s eyes, I’ll call that a win. That counts for something.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Our work is centered around raising awareness about animal cruelty, wildlife conservation, and the importance of building more compassionate relationships with the natural world. At the heart of our mission is creating media that makes people feel that sparks empathy, inspires action, and connects us more deeply to the natural world and the beings we share it with. We’re not just building a brand we’re creating a family. A family where everyone can relate, because at our core, our hearts are so similar.

One of the most exciting parts of our journey right now is that we’re extending into a podcast. Our flagship show, Voice for Voiceless, is a space for heartfelt conversations with experts, advocates, and changemakers. We also highlight the stories of animals who deserve to shine those who’ve overcome cruelty or are fighting to survive in today’s world. We want to give a platform to rescues, sanctuaries, and like-minded people who feel called to share their message, raise awareness, and educate others on important issues. The podcast is more than just audio, it’s a platform for education, emotional connection, and advocacy.

I am also the owner of Loreleey Designs the company that proudly shined at Paris Fashion Week. VFV Media Group is dedicated to teaming up with Loreleey to highlight its focus on 100% cruelty-free products and upcycling. Our upcoming product line aligns with these values, emphasizing sustainability and compassion. You can find us on runways, at markets, and online platforms.

What makes VFV special is our commitment to turning empathy into impact. We believe storytelling has the power to shift culture, and we’re using that power to be a voice for those who can’t speak for themselves. Whether it’s through a podcast episode, a social media post, or a local event, our goal is always the same: to build a more compassionate, conscious, and connected world.

Additionally, we’re organizing pop-up events, community cleanups, and educational campaigns designed to bring people together, raise awareness, and encourage hands-on involvement. These initiatives aim to empower local communities to take action, foster a deeper connection with the environment, and create lasting positive impact on animal welfare and conservation efforts.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Empathy: Having worked with animals my whole life,(animal hospitals, rescues) I’ve developed a deep ability to feel and understand the experiences of others whether animals, people, or communities. Empathy fuels authentic storytelling and meaningful connections, which are essential in advocacy work. The very first memory I have of realizing I am an empath was when I was watching Free Willy as a child. I was so upset that I ran out to the kitchen crying. My parents rushed after me to comfort me, telling me it was “just” a movie but little did they know how close that story was to reality for so many animals. Growing up, I was the type of kid who, whenever I saw a homeless animal, I would catch them and bring them home without hesitation or question.

Creativity and Storytelling: Creativity is at the heart of how we communicate our mission and inspire change. Whether through podcasts, fashion, or events, storytelling brings complex issues to life and makes them accessible. One my previous job with a small start-up, I worked in creative roles that helped me build important skills like video editing, photography, and production. Those experiences prepared me to successfully apply these skills to my own company and bring our vision to life.

Resilience and Adaptability: There are times I question everything moments of burnout, financial stress, and situations where things don’t go as planned. But each obstacle teaches me something new and reminds me why I started. As a founder, especially in a mission-driven space, I wear many hats and often have to learn on the fly. Plans shift, resources change, and the only constant is the need to keep moving forward with heart and purpose. What helps me most is staying grounded in my mission, remaining open to learning, and trusting that progress doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful.

My overall advice:
Let your heart lead, but don’t forget to build the skills that support your passion. Be open to change, and don’t fear the messy parts of growth. Take those “small” jobs they teach you more than you realize. Never lose sight of your mission or forget the past that shaped you. Focus on your message, your purpose, and surround yourself with people who truly care about you. LEAVE THE BULLIES BEHIND there’s no space for that energy when you’re building something meaningful.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Yes, I’m absolutely looking to collaborate desperately, in fact. I truly believe that collaboration is one of the most powerful tools we have to create real, lasting change. I’m looking to partner with individuals, rescues, sanctuaries, creatives, conservationists, educators, ethical brands, and anyone who shares a passion for animal welfare, environmental protection, and conscious living. If you have a message that needs a platform, a story that deserves to be heard, or a mission that aligns with ours, I would love to connect.
