We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Vili Hickey a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Vili, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
When people talk about “purpose,” I think we first need to ask what that word even means. For me, purpose isn’t a single destination or job title—it’s a feeling. It’s that electric sense of aliveness, the quiet joy that comes from knowing your work is in service to something bigger than yourself.
Over the years, my purpose has shifted as I’ve grown. I don’t believe we ever land on one fixed calling; we evolve, and our purpose evolves with us. Right now, my work is guiding women back into their power—women who carry birth trauma, sexual trauma, generational pain, creative blocks, or the heavy burnout that comes from living out of alignment. Through somatic release and my ability to channel messages from their highest self, I help them clear what the body is holding so they can remember their own brilliance.
This didn’t appear in a single lightning-bolt moment. My purpose was forged in the fire of my own healing. After the traumatic birth of my first child in 2017, I was consumed by rage and searching for answers. I began with the physical—healing my pelvic floor and becoming a prenatal and postpartum corrective exercise specialist. But the deeper layers revealed themselves when I turned inward, discovering the ancient wisdom of the womb. There, in what I call “womb power,” I found not only my own restoration but the medicine I now share with others.
Purpose, for me, is a living, breathing journey. It’s the continual choice to meet your own transformation and then offer that transformation as a gift to the collective.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I was born and raised in Linz, Austria, the middle of a lively family with two sisters and two brothers. From the time I was little, I loved bringing energy and laughter into any room. Acting felt like the most natural path—I could sense the mood around me and guide it toward something brighter.
In 2013, I moved to New York City to study acting abroad, and in my very first class I met Jason, the love of my life. Together we built a beautiful life, moving across cities and chasing our dreams. In 2017, while living in Los Angeles, I gave birth to our daughter. What should have been a joyful chapter became a turning point instead. I felt profoundly alone and unsupported after birth, left with a category-4 tear, a year of incontinence, and a deep disconnection from my body and pleasure. That experience sparked a quest to heal my own “mom rage” and reclaim my sense of self.
Over the years, I immersed myself in modalities that first transformed me and now serve the women I work with. Through somatic healing, intuitive channeling, Human Design, and energy work, I guide women back to their own purpose and power. I share this work through one-on-one sessions, my 12-week course Vivify Yourself, my self-led 6-week program The Vivify Method, and a growing lineup of in-person events here in Austin.
Today my mission is simple but profound: to help women reconnect with their bodies, release trauma, and remember the pleasure and power that have always been theirs.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three qualities that shaped my journey the most were openness, curiosity, and refusal to settle. I could have easily accepted incontinence as my new normal after birth, but something in me knew there was more. I stayed curious. I kept searching for answers because I wanted a thriving marriage, a body that felt alive and whole, and the ability to experience pleasure again.
The greatest knowledge I uncovered is that all the power we seek already lives inside our womb. It’s our inner compass.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal client is any woman who is ready to reclaim and rediscover her truest self—a woman longing to feel alive in her body, to awaken her feminine embodiment, and to experience real pleasure and joy again. She’s the woman who refuses to settle for a life that feels numb or disconnected. She’s willing to look into her shadows, to face the parts of herself that need healing, and to invest in her emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being because she knows that her wholeness is priceless.
She is also open-hearted and self-aware, even if she’s scared. She knows she’s meant for more, even if she can’t yet name what “more” looks like. She values depth over quick fixes, desires authentic connection, and craves a community where she can be both held and challenged. Most of all, she’s ready to trust her body’s wisdom and take responsibility for her own transformation—knowing that her healing will ripple out to her relationships, her family, and the world around her.
