Meet Vincent A. Lanci

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Vincent A. Lanci a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Vincent A. , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
After being the victim of a hit-and-run accident while on foot, my perspective changed. I was a Finance student who was focused on making a lot of money and earning a great job title. One day I thought to myself, who am I really doing this for?

I stepped back from Corporate and began writing my first book, Left for Dead: A Story of Redemption. From there, it was off to the races! I have dedicated my life to helping others through my story and experiences.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
My brand focuses on three areas: Mental Health, Entrepreneurship, and Writing.

My books all have either a mental health or business tie.

Each area also has a podcast: A Mental Health Break, That Entrepreneur Show, and Writing with Authors.

One of the most exciting parts of my career is receiving feedback or a review letting me know that my work helped them in some way. I also love the chance to connect with new individuals all around the world on my podcast shows. You can always learn something from someone.

I host free hybrid workshops every month on each of these areas as well as a free virtual monthly roundtable. I would love to connect with you there and all these links are in my link in bio on Instagram (@VincentALanci).

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Maximizing your day- I use a white board and time block, making my day clear and more organized. Daily reading- If you are busy, setting a small goal of 10 pages per day allows you to finish more books and create a productive habit. I read in the morning after the gym and carry this momentum throughout the day.
Getting enough sleep- Making sacrifices to be in bed early pays major dividends including allowing me to think clearly and have the energy to work a full, productive day.

Some advice I can offer is to constantly network and ask questions. Ask as many questions as you can.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Yes, additional podcast sponsors and partners who align with my shows mission.
