We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Vinnie Fallico a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Vinnie, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My work ethic is rooted in my love for the craft and my desire to create great work. I am driven by the satisfaction that comes from capturing compelling visuals, telling meaningful stories, and leaving a lasting impact on the audience. It’s the passion and dedication that fuel my work ethic and push me to constantly strive to get a little better everyday.

Black Sky Creative is a video production company based in Austin, Texas. We are known for our expertise in commercial, documentary, and aerial cinematography. We specialize in capturing dynamic and unique aerial shots with superior precision, allowing us to create visually captivating content for our clients.
But our services go beyond aerial drone work. We offer a wide range of creative solutions, including commercial video production for some of the nation’s biggest brands as well as commercial photography and headshots. Our goal is to create images that not only engage our clients’ target audience but also increase their visibility in the market.
We believe in the power of collaboration and work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and goals. By combining our expertise with their vision, we create high-quality videos and images that help our clients increase their brand’s return on investment, engage and convert new clients, and ultimately grow their bottom line.
Our focus also extends beyond just business growth. We believe in fostering a positive and enjoyable creative process for all parties involved. Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
My three pieces of advice to aspiring filmmakers are to quit watching YouTube and purchase a class for what you’re trying to learn, network as much as possible and build relationships, and create as much as you can, even if it’s for fun.
