Meet Violet Grae

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Violet Grae. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Violet below.

Violet, thank you so much for making time for us. We’ve always admired your ability to take risks and so maybe we can kick things off with a discussion around how you developed your ability to take and bear risk?

Taking risks became second nature to me because I never really saw a clear blueprint for the life I wanted—I had to create it. Growing up in a small town, my dreams always felt bigger than the space around me, so risk-taking was tied directly to growth and survival. When I started touring at fifteen years old, there were no guarantees, just passion, persistence, and the belief that I could create something meaningful if I stayed true to myself.
Over time, I learned that every major shift in my life came from moments of bold decision-making: walking away from toxic work environments, launching my own agency, advocating for artists who felt silenced, and now… bringing music-rocking energy full circle into the real estate world. I realized that risk is not about being reckless, it’s about being aligned. It’s about trusting your instincts, honoring your values, and being willing to step into the unknown if it means building something better.
Whether I’m guiding an artist through a major release or helping someone envision a new life in a new home, I approach it with the same courage, clarity, and creativity. Real estate might seem like a new path, but to me, it’s just another stage one where I can continue to help people connect to who they are and where they’re meant to be. You deserve a full-picture experience!

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Thank you so much for asking—my work has always been about helping people step fully into who they are. I’m a creative consultant and lifestyle strategist with roots in the music industry, and my brand is centered around advocacy, authenticity, and empowerment.

I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years: touring artist, vocal coach, A&R director, brand strategist, and founder of Grae Agency—a creative services company that supports artists, influencers, and entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. Whether I’m coaching a vocalist, producing a project from the ground up, negotiating a contract, or planning a strategic rollout for a release, the through-line in all my work is this: helping people use their voice and vision in powerful, transformative ways.

What’s exciting right now is that I’m expanding that mission in a very tangible, full-circle way—by bringing my creative energy into real estate. I’ve always believed that environment plays a huge role in how we grow, perform, and thrive. So now, I help people find spaces that align not only with their spacial needs but with their lifestyle, community, and creative identity. Whether someone is moving to L.A. to chase a dream, looking for a new neighborhood to plant roots in, or simply needing a fresh start, I bring the same attention to detail, intuition, and vision that I’ve used in the music industry for years.

This next chapter is all about integration: using everything I’ve learned—on stage, in the studio, in leadership—to support people in curating lives they love. I’m here to help others find alignment, whether that’s in a lyric, a business strategy, or a new zip code.

As for what’s next—I’m developing a few exciting tools and workshops that blend music, mentorship, and life design. I’m also welcoming new clients across both music and real estate, and continuing to expand the Grae roster and services. So if you’re ready to refresh your life fully—creatively, personally, or physically—I’m here to help you make that vision real.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, I’d say the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been resilience, emotional intelligence, and vision.

Resilience was born out of necessity. I started touring and performing young, which meant learning to navigate uncertainty, rejection, burnout, and reinvention early on. The industry isn’t always kind, and life doesn’t always go according to plan. But resilience taught me to keep showing up with integrity, to pivot without losing my purpose, and to see setbacks as redirection rather than failure.

Emotional intelligence has been my greatest asset in building real relationships—with artists, clients, teams, and now, even in real estate. Being able to listen deeply, read the room, and hold space for people’s experiences has allowed me to guide others from a place of trust, not ego. In any industry built on people, connection is everything.

And vision—that’s the heartbeat. I’ve always been a big-picture thinker, even when the picture wasn’t clear yet. Whether crafting a rollout plan, helping someone find their sound, or matching a client to a new home that supports their goals, I’ve learned to lead with imagination and strategy combined. Vision helps you dream beyond your current circumstances—and take bold steps toward that dream.

Advice for others?
Start with self-awareness. Know what lights you up, what drains you, and what kind of impact you want to have. Build discipline around your passions, not perfection. And don’t be afraid to ask for help or mentorship—growth doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Find people who challenge and support you, and stay open to change. Your path won’t be linear, but if you stay anchored in purpose and values, it will absolutely be meaningful.

Also—your surroundings matter more than you think. Whether it’s your creative circle or your physical environment, make sure where you are aligns with where you want to go. That alignment is everything—and it’s a big part of why I now help others find not just a place to live, but a place to be.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?

Over the past 12 months, my biggest area of growth has been integration—learning how to bring all parts of myself and my skill sets into one cohesive, aligned offering. I’ve spent years guiding artists, building brands, and helping people find their voice—but 12 months ago, I made the intentional decision to expand that mission in a new way: through real estate.

I realized that where we live impacts how we create, connect, and evolve. So I committed fully. I studied incredibly hard, earned my credentials, and brought real estate into the mix—not as a side project, but as a natural extension of what I already do: help people step into the next chapter of their lives with clarity, confidence, and alignment.

This year has been about owning that full-circle identity. I’m not just a music industry coach or a brand strategist or a fixer—I’m someone who helps people find their fit, whether it’s a creative direction, a career move, or a physical space that feels like home. The real estate world has given me a new canvas to continue that work, and it’s been deeply fulfilling to watch it all come together.

I’ve also grown personally by learning to be more intentional with my energy, more structured in my systems, and more protective of my own creative space—so I can continue to show up fully for others. I feel more grounded than ever and excited for what’s still unfolding.
