Meet Violet Prince

We were lucky to catch up with Violet Prince recently and have shared our conversation below.

Violet, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

Confidence and self-esteem didn’t just show up one day — I built them, piece by piece. I started by showing up for myself consistently, speaking kindly to myself and keeping promises I made to me. I stopped basing my worth on perfection and started celebrating my body and myself as I am. I learned to quiet the inner critic and turn up the volume on self-compassion. I’ve also been intentional on the people I surround myself with, making sure that they uplift me, setting boundaries when needed and doing the inner work (even when it’s hard). Confidence, for me, is less about being loud and more about being grounded in who I am.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Although I love to be in front of the camera, I am more than just a model. I hope to show through my social media presence that I am unapologetic and redefining beauty through the lens of self-love and radical body acceptance. My brand is a celebration of every curve, every scar and every inch of who I am. I hope that with each shoot and post, I invite others to embrace their bodies not in spite of their differences, but because of them. I hope that through my work it’ll inspire others to see themselves as art and worthy of love exactly as they are.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Advice I have for others is choosing self-love over self-criticism – the moment I stopped picking myself apart and started celebrating what makes me me, everything shifted. Confidence grows when you speak to yourself with kindness.

Secondly, surrounding myself with real ones – people who see me, support me and remind me of my power in the days I forget. Energy is everything – protect yours.

Finally, using my voice unapologetically – whether through modeling, social media or simply showing up as myself, I learned that authenticity is magnetic. Owning my truth created space for others to do the same.

My advice for others is don’t wait for permission to love yourself. Your body, your energy, your story – they’re already enough. Take up space, set your own standards and remember: the real glow-up is when you stop seeking validation and start living for you.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I’m looking to connect and collaborate with fresh eyes and bold minds – photographers, stylists, makeup artists, visual storytellers and brands that align with my personal philosophy. I’m looking to create magic and push boundaries.

If you’re into body positive work, moody vibes, sultry energy or something that doesn’t quite fit the mold…I want to hear from you. Let’s collab, create and make something unforgettable.
