Vivian , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
This is not an easy question, but the best way for me to answer it, is learning from every mistake I have done, Every time we make mistakes, we think we fail but the truth is that we are learning, we are growing, we are empowering ourselves to be better than the self before, I learned that every time I face a hard situation the way I faced and solved it is the one that makes me more confident in myself. I always say that life is a quest, and we only succeed if we solve every challenge we face.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am passionate about everything related with Esthetics, beauty and medical treatments and have dedicated myself to Build and grow Derma Designers to the point of help everyone no matter the status or their knowledge in esthetics. What excites me the most is the ability to help those who doesn’t feel confiable in their own skin, those who feel lees because their appearance and those who need to see beyond the skin.
I believe that Derma Designers stands out because we make sure you feel part of our family, we listen and understand your concerns and we work together with each person to help them improve their insecurities. Recently, I have been working with new equipments that brings new treatments to Derma Designers and also more knowledge along with Dr’s and more professionals from the industry that I’m thrilled to share with our readers. I hope to continue pushing the boundaries of Derma Designers and making a meaningful contribution.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back on my journey, there were three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that had a significant impact on my path to success. Firstly, resilience was crucial. The ability to bounce back from setbacks, learn from failures, and keep pushing forward helped me navigate challenges and stay motivated.
Secondly, continuous learning played a vital role. Being open to new ideas, seeking knowledge, and staying updated with the latest advancements in my field allowed me to adapt and grow. Whether it was attending workshops, reading industry publications, or networking with experts, embracing lifelong learning was key.
Lastly, cultivating a growth mindset was transformative. Believing in my ability to improve, embracing challenges as opportunities, and viewing criticism as constructive feedback propelled me forward. This mindset allowed me to embrace change, take risks, and continually strive for improvement.
For those early in their journey, my advice would be to prioritize these three aspects. Develop resilience by reframing setbacks as learning experiences. Embrace continuous learning by seeking out resources, mentors, and educational opportunities. Finally, nurture a growth mindset by embracing challenges, seeking feedback, and believing in your own potential.
Remember, the journey may have ups and downs, but by cultivating resilience, continuous learning, and a growth mindset, you’ll be better equipped to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals.
Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
When I feel overwhelmed, I have found that incorporating meditation and engaging with empowering podcasts or books has been incredibly beneficial. Taking a few moments to sit in silence and practice mindfulness through meditation helps me center myself and regain clarity. It allows me to observe my thoughts and emotions without judgment, which often leads to a sense of calm and renewed focus.
In addition, listening to empowering podcasts or reading inspirational books acts as a form of self-care and motivation. These resources provide me with valuable insights, guidance, and different perspectives that help shift my mindset and alleviate overwhelm. They remind me of my strengths, offer practical strategies, and encourage me to approach challenges with a positive outlook.
I would highly recommend incorporating these practices to anyone feeling overwhelmed. Carving out dedicated time for meditation, even if it’s just a few minutes each day, can make a significant difference. Likewise, actively seeking out empowering podcasts or books related to personal development, mindfulness, or stress management can offer valuable tools and support.
