Meet Vivian Villanueva

We were lucky to catch up with Vivian Villanueva recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Vivian, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I found my purpose after I came to know Jesus in the beginning of 2024 and fully surrendered my heart and my life to Him. I thought I knew who I was and what I wanted. Little did I know, once I started this journey with Him and I started getting into my bible that everything would change including me. It was like life started to make sense. I started to understand why He came to give us eternal life and that in Him we are a new creation. I started to acknowledge that I had some internal baggage that I thought I was healed from, but little by little He started to prune me and revealed areas in my life that I need to lay at His feet.

As I continued to walk with Him, I started to see that there was so much truth and knowledge in the bible that applied to life that I was never aware of. I began to view others and myself differently. I began to notice that I had a desire to want to bring other women to know Him and His word. I had a desire to pray for others, and a desire to lead women to Him. I wanted to share of His goodness and what He had done in my life.

I understood why I had experienced certain heart aches, losses and wounds in my life. I had dealt with a multitude of insecurities, pain, betrayal, and downfalls so that I could be relatable to other women. I had to be broken apart so that He could renew me and use me for His glory. I fully understood that I had an assignment to complete. I had to be a light for other women who need the support, guidance and most importantly to know Jesus.

This journey led me to start my Christian women’s podcast, The Shefaithful Podcast and from there it led me to start Crown of Faith Network which is a networking community for the woman of faith. I never thought in a million years that I would be in the faith-based industry. I did not feel worthy or qualified at first. I was merely walking in obedience. It was because of His love, mercy, grace and favor that doors have opened, and that I have met with amazing people that have believed in me along the way and reminded me that I am exactly where I am supposed to be.

I do not know how my story ends or how it’s going to unravel. All I know is that I am building a bridge to fill in the gap from fear to faith for other women. I want to be able to serve other women and help them reach their goals so they can walk in their purpose and calling. I want someone to say I never gave up because of you and you helped me know Jesus better.

-He will bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes. -Issiah 61:3

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Crown of Faith Network is more than just a community, it’s a movement for faith-driven women who are ready to grow in their purpose, build their businesses, and walk boldly in their calling. My mission is to create a space where women can connect, learn, and be empowered through faith, mentorship, and practical guidance.
What excites me most about starting this network is the opportunity to pour into women who are navigating career transitions, entrepreneurship, and personal growth—just like I once was. I know how it feels to have a vision but not know the next steps, and I want to provide the support and resources that I wish I had when I was starting out. Through our membership, mentorship programs, and faith-driven events, my goal is to help women step confidently into what God has called them to do. Crown of Faith is not just about networking—it’s about transformation, community, and walking in divine favor.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three qualities that I believe are most impactful are obedience, faith and trust in God. I strongly believe that these three are needed in starting a business or following a dream that God has put on your heart.

The advice I would give to individuals just starting out is put God first in your business and everything that you do, and He will direct your steps. Give Him the first fruits of your time, and of your earnings. He will send the right people and the right connections to help you be successful.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I am always looking for other Kingdom women entrepreneurs to collab with! Whether it’s them being a guest for my podcast, me being on their podcast, me speaking at another’s event or them running a future workshop in my crown of faith network community. It’s all about sisterhood and collaboration to help build His kingdom!
