Meet Vladimir Simic

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Vladimir Simic. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Vladimir below.

Vladimir, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I believe my work ethic was built long before I even realized it. Growing up, I learned that nothing truly meaningful comes without effort. I’ve always been driven by a mix of passion and responsibility — if I commit to something, I give it my full attention and energy. Working in a creative industry taught me discipline in chaos, consistency in inspiration, and respect for time — both mine and my clients’. My work ethic comes from gratitude — for every opportunity, every client who trusts me, and every challenge that pushes me to grow

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m a professional hairstylist and creative based in Los Angeles, specializing in color, extensions, and customized transformations. My brand is built on the idea that beauty should feel effortless, authentic, and personal. I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients from different backgrounds — from everyday women to public figures — and what connects all of them is trust.

What makes my work unique is the detail and intention behind every look. I don’t follow trends blindly; I adapt them to each person’s individuality. My goal is to create styles that not only look beautiful but also make people feel beautiful.

Right now, I’m focused on expanding my collaborations — from creative editorial projects to growing my client base internationally. There are exciting things coming, including new services and collaborations that reflect my philosophy: beauty with soul and purpose.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three qualities that shaped my journey are discipline, intuition, and empathy.

Discipline taught me that success takes time — it’s about showing up every day and giving your best, even when it’s hard. Intuition helps me see beyond the surface; as a hairstylist, I create not just styles but emotions, guided by how someone wants to feel. And empathy is what gives my work meaning — every client who sits in my chair has a story, and I take pride in helping them see their own beauty.

My advice for anyone starting out: work hard, stay curious, and don’t lose your authenticity. Technique can be learned, but your passion and heart — that’s your real signature.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I’m always open to collaborating with passionate, creative people who see beauty as a form of art. Whether it’s a photoshoot, brand project, or something completely new, I love working with others who value authenticity and vision. The best collaborations happen when there’s real connection and shared inspiration — that’s where magic is created.
