Meet Warith Jumuah

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Warith Jumuah. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Warith, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

I always wanted to inspire change. With everything that’s occurring in the world, resiliency is needed to keep someone going on their path. Ultimately, my story is one of inspiring change. I felt discouraged by the world, but instead of giving up, I used my experience to create a movement that focuses on empowering people to find their own creative drive.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Warith EL-Amin Jumuah, founder of Passionate Rebel LLC, home of the Passionate Rebels! I am a creative, father, fashion designer, community leader, and more importantly, a Passionate Rebel, whose passion stimulates his hustle!

My Passionate Rebel journey came into fruition in June of 2014. As with most young college students returning home with a degree in hand, I embraced employment as a Program Monitor for the city of Newark. Shortly after, budget cuts became necessary, and I was laid off. Viewing such as a curse and a blessing, the opportunity for Passionate Rebel to excel manifested.

Passionate Rebel is an innovative streetwear brand rooted in self-expression and community empowerment. Based in New Jersey, our brand offers bold, distinctive designs that encourage individuals to embrace their uniqueness while fostering a sense of unity. Passionate Rebel’s mission is to use fashion as a platform for meaningful social change.

Driving forces such as work ethics, family values, and uplifting society have paved the way for phenomenal recognition such as our feature on News 12 New Jersey Spotlight Edition (2016), receiving our 2024 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, and our successful collection debut in Paris Fashion Week (PFW 2024).

What makes Passionate Rebel so exciting and differentiated is our brand extends far beyond a typical clothing and lifestyle company. While we offer fashionable apparel, Passionate Rebel’s core focus is a powerful, mission-driven movement centered on social impact, community empowerment, and self-directed leadership.

Recently, Passionate Rebel was selected as a sponsor in partnership with the American Cancer Society for the 2025 Breast Cancer Awareness Walk that took place on October 19, 2025 in Newark,New Jersey.
Also, we’re planning to launch our Passionate Rebel Road to Success (SEL) Program in collaboration with Plainfield, NJ School district for the 25/26 school year.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three qualities that were most impactful in my journey are resiliency, commitment to values, and courage. I’ve faced a number of disappointments on my road to success; however, each of those disappointments created areas of growth and opportunity.

My commitment to values provided great guidance. My values helped me to understand the great purpose I’m blessed with and gave me an internal moral compass. It helped fuel my resilience. When I faced difficult challenges, I was able to draw from core convictions instead of giving up. Gave me courage to keep going.

The best advice I can give to people who are early in their journey is stay committed to your values, build network of positive influence, and create strategic disruption. Understand that passion fuels what you do; however, these qualities help you sustain your fight on your journey and aids you in creating a lasting and impactful foundation.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

Given my identity as a Passionate Rebel with a decade of life remaining, my actions would focus on pursuing profound change. My legacy would be built on establishing a stronger foundation for my family, as well as inspiring others to continue to be Passionate Rebels.

As a family man, spending time with my family through traveling and creating memories together. Also, I would continue to build on our foundation of being both community and family oriented through teaching important values, beliefs, and positive actions.

As an entrepreneur, continuing the journey of creating things that’ll remain with various communities and inspire continued growth.

As a brand owner, I would continue to build in areas of Passionate Rebel that will continue the lasting impact we set out to establish.
