Meet Whitney Kemp

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Whitney Kemp . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Whitney below.

Hi Whitney , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I found my purpose when I finally decided to let God have His way. I no longer cared what other people thought about me, or how many likes I received on a social media post. All I knew was that I wanted to help people obtain their goals. I wanted to connect people through networking, so that they could take their gifts to the next level.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a social media marketer and stylist. During my experience of almost 10 years, I have had the pleasure of styling several people, as well as advertised for many companies in the digital market. I am currently working on expanding The Glam Gatzby LLC by including a career/talent agency. No special launches at this time.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three qualities that have helped me along my way are: Being KIND to people, Being PATIENT in knowing that my time is divine, and Being a great communicator when it comes to getting my tasks complete in the professional world. My advice to folks that are just now getting started, don’t let anyone make you feel that you are not worthy of having a seat at the table. Your input matters!

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
Not to sound too churchy, BUT The Holy Bible is definitely the book that I choose. Out of of publications or recordings, The Bible gives me the most peace inside. Finding the love and forgiveness that God gives us everyday is what I am striving to give those around me.
