We recently connected with Yani Romero and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Yani, so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?
For me, self-care is everything. It’s about truly maintaining a healthy work-life balance. As a business owner, it’s easy to get caught up in constantly working and wearing multiple hats, but I’ve learned that when I don’t prioritize myself, everything around me suffers my focus, creativity, and even how I show up for my clients and team.
One of my favorite forms of self-care is creating canvas art and abstract paintings it’s my escape and a way to release stress. I also love getting facials when I can, as a small act that helps me slow down and reset. Taking time for myself keeps me grounded, present, and ultimately more effective in how I lead and grow my business.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
The IV Infusion Co is a business designed to empower nurses and healthcare professionals who want to step into entrepreneurship through IV hydration and wellness services. What makes our brand so special is that we’re not just a resource we’re a launchpad. We provide guidance, and structure, which include medical direction from a licensed physician, malpractice insurance, and established protocols tailored to IV hydration and real tools to help aspiring nursepreneurs start and grow their own IV therapy businesses with confidence.
What excites me most is being able to help others build something of their own while also creating a lifestyle rooted in balance, wellness, and self-love. I know firsthand how overwhelming starting a business can be, especially in healthcare.
We’ve recently added a private community for nursepreneurs to our platform, which has been a huge step forward in helping our members stay connected, inspired, and supported.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been adaptability, resourcefulness, and relationship-building.
In this industry, things shift fast regulations, client needs, public health trends so staying flexible without losing focus has been key. I’ve also had to be resourceful, especially early on, making the most of limited tools and leaning into creative solutions. For anyone starting out, don’t wait for perfect start with what you have and stay curious.
Most importantly, strong relationships have been the foundation of everything. Whether it’s clients, partners, or vendors consistency, and real value go a long way.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Yes, I’m actively looking to connect with Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Doctors, and Vendors who are involved in or interested in the IV therapy space. I’m always open to building partnerships that can support and expand opportunities for those starting their own IV therapy businesses.
My goal is to create a strong network that gives aspiring nursepreneurs more options, resources, and support as they grow. If you’re interested in collaborating, visit theivinfusionco.com or reach out on Instagram @theivinfusionco I’d love to connect and explore how we can work together!
