Hi Yarin and Pauline , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

Our work ethic comes from strong family influences. Yarin grew up surrounded by hardworking role models. One grandfather was a commercial contractor, the other owner of private car dealer, and his father served nearly 20 years in the military before working abroad, showing incredible discipline and dedication. Pauline’s father owned a large furniture manufacturing and wholesale business, where she learned the value of responsibility, quality, and building lasting client relationships. Those examples taught us the importance of integrity, persistence, and delivering excellence in everything we do.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Our journey with Create Construction started with a shared passion for design, craftsmanship, and helping people fall in love with their homes. As a full-service design-build company, we get to wear many hats! Designers, problem-solvers, project managers, and no two days are ever the same. From the first conversation with a client to the final walk-through, our focus is always on bringing a vision to life in a way that feels effortless for them.

What makes Create Construction special is that we handle everything : design, project management, and construction, which means every detail stays aligned with the original vision. We love that moment when clients see their newly transformed space for the first time and you can feel the emotional connection they have to it.

Right now, we’re especially excited about expanding our design services with different packages. Being able to help clients and create a design package that works for them. At the heart of it, our work is about trust, quality, and creating spaces that people truly enjoy living in.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, three qualities have been the most impactful in our journey: adaptability, communication, and attention to detail. In construction and design, no two projects are ever identical, unexpected challenges will always arise. So being able to adapt quickly without compromising quality is essential. Clear and honest communication, both with clients and our team, builds trust and keeps projects running smoothly.

For those starting out, our advice is to treat every project as a learning experience. Adaptability comes from staying open-minded and viewing obstacles as opportunities to problem-solve creatively. Communication is a skill you refine by actively listening and being transparent, even when the news is difficult. And attention to detail is developed by slowing down enough to notice the small things. Over time, these habits become second nature and set you apart in any industry.
