Meet Yasmine Vine

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Yasmine Vine. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Yasmine, so happy you were able to devote some time to sharing your thoughts and wisdom with our community. So, we’ve always admired how you have seemingly never let nay-sayers or haters keep you down. Can you talk to us about how to persist despite the negative energy that so often is thrown at folks trying to do something special with their lives?

I imagine a road in which I am walking in my purpose. and doing what I love. Its a beautiful road with beautiful scenery.
When faced with negativity in that particular subject, I see that road and I tell myself I will keep going despite what was said. I tell myself to keep going despite what was said.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a singer, actress and burlesque dancer. I am currently getting ready to perform as the Spotlight Performer at the Burlesque Gala on Nov. 22nd. The show is about my story of growing up in Iran as a Muslim and coming to America and becoming a Burlesque dancer. I am very excited about it.
I also write songs and sing/ perform often in the Hollywood and LA area. I have acted in a bunch of TV shows and films and I am working on a fantastic script right now! To see all I do please visit my website at www.YasmineVine.com

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I love to learn! I do very well when I have a mentor.
I am also very determined. Once I have a vision I stick to it until its complete no matter how long it takes.
I am also very passionate and creativity is my fuel.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

Alot of times when I am faced with a decision to make, I ask myself if I were to die tomorrow would I want to do this today?
If the answer is yes then I will do it!
If I had one more decade of life. I would write a list of all the things I dream of experiencing and I would focus on all those on a daily bases. I would eliminate distractions and I would be aware of what my mind is focused on as social media and societies issues tend to control our minds without contributing to the manifestions of our desires. It would be important to weed those out. I would also not take life as seriously and be more grateful.
I would engange in creativity daily and take every chance to do things I love and go out of my comfort zone. I would focus on people I care about and not waste time with people who are not in alignment with me. I would enjoy nature more often as well. I would write more songs and books and scripts, perform more, take more acting jobs and defintely DANCE MORE!
