Hi Yassie , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
My son and my late mother they keep me going. I want my son to see that you can go after your dreams and make a living doing something you love. Growing up my mom always supported my desire to entertain and create music , she would always say ” if your going to do it , do it and don’t give up or let anyone tell you that you can’t make it’ .
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Im a singer songwriter I travel all over performing , along with recording and writing new music. I also am a model as well as an actress , I am really and all around creative theres lots I plan to do throughout my career . However, my passion is music first for sure.
I have lots coming up and lots to stay tuned for more music videos , more shows , touring , movies and of course more music.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
3 qualities would definitely be patience, ambition and pure drive to be the best I can be always. My advice to others would be to invest in yourself , never give up and all great things take time so do not lose sight of the goal .
