We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ysaura Landeros a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Ysaura, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I discovered my purpose through reflection. Like many other small business owners, I’ve faced moments of doubt—what many call “imposter syndrome.” For me, this showed up when I first launched Everlasting Grace in 2023. I found myself pouring energy into trying to display what I thought people wanted to see, instead of sharing my own values, skills, and heart. It wasn’t until I slowed down and reflected that I realized my purpose had been right in front of me all along, even from an early age—I just didn’t recognize it yet.
Back in junior high and high school, I was part of Associated Student Body (ASB), where I planned and designed school events on a very small scale. At the time, I didn’t realize those moments of choosing themes, coordinating details, and bringing ideas to life were planting the seeds of my future. What I thought was just being involved in school quickly grew into a passion for creating experiences that brought people together. Over the years, that love only deepened. When family members began trusting me with their special occasions, I felt the same joy I had back then, only now with a clearer sense of purpose. Seeing the look on someone’s face when their vision comes alive confirmed for me that this wasn’t just a hobby; it was a calling.
Now, I like to think of Everlasting Grace as my “real life ASB”—only this time, I get to use this gift from God to design meaningful celebrations for people in some of the most important moments of their lives.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m more than a planner and designer—I’m your shoulder to lean on and the one with all the answers on your big day. What I love most is seeing months of planning come to life. From choosing napkin colors and perfecting timelines to creating mock-up after mock-up, there’s something truly magical about stepping back and watching it all come together in partnership with the amazing vendors who bring each celebration to life. But the very best part? Seeing the joy on my clients’ faces.
One bride recently shared with me, “I can’t deny that heaven exists. I walked down that aisle and saw everything I wanted surrounding me, and I thought there’s no better blessing.” Moments like that are why I do what I do—I want my clients to feel completely stress-free, fully present, and intentional with every memory they’re creating.
To continue providing that level of care, I’m excited to share that Everlasting Grace is growing! I would love to add assistant coordinators and design assistants to help support our couples and clients. If you’re experienced in the event industry and passionate about creating unforgettable moments, I’d love to connect with you. Please email your resume and/or a detailed description of your event industry experience to [email protected].

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, three qualities that shaped my journey are creativity, organization, and empathy. Creativity brings each client’s vision to life, organization keeps every detail running smoothly, and empathy lets me truly connect with clients. For those starting out in the wedding industry specifically, my best advice is to find a mentor, keep improving, stay on top of trends, and really listen—not just to your clients, but to the veterans of the industry.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal clients are thoughtful, intentional, and confident in expressing their own unique style. They want their events to be personal, not just follow trends, and aren’t afraid to do something different if it truly speaks to them. They dream big, embrace creativity, and trust me to manage the details so they can focus on enjoying the moment. They’re looking for a planning bestie who can bring their vision to life while making the entire journey joyful, intentional, and unforgettable.
