We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Zabreon President . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Zabreon below.
Zabreon , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
My resilience stems from life’s crossroads, where I’ve had to choose between surrendering to hardship or standing tall, extracting wisdom from setbacks, and wholeheartedly welcoming whatever comes my way. Each hurdle becomes a step forward in my journey of growth and self-discovery.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
As an author, speaker, and advocate for self-love and wellness, my journey of self-discovery fuels my passion to assist others in navigating life’s challenges. I believe in the power of sharing our stories to light the way for those in need. Through my words and actions, I strive to inspire and cultivate a community of empowerment. Having overcome people-pleasing, low self-esteem, perfectionism – and so much more. I enjoy encouraging and to guiding others on their journey to self-acceptance and fulfillment.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Maintain discipline, yet allow yourself the grace and space to grow. Take moments to pause and appreciate life’s beauty, stopping to smell the roses often. It’s perfectly okay not to have all the answers. Don’t do it for anyone else but yourself. You are your own purpose.
We’ve all got limited resources, time, energy, focus etc – so if you had to choose between going all in on your strengths or working on areas where you aren’t as strong, what would you choose?
I believe in finding balance in both strengths and areas where I may not excel. In my personal journey, I’ve realized that hyper-focusing on my strengths could create conflict when faced with aspects I’m not so proficient in. This underscores the importance of practicing self-compassion. It involves understanding that it’s okay not to be strong all the time and recognizing the value in both vulnerability and strength.
