Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Zack Humphreys . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Zack with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I got my work ethic from working in different job fields learning the ins and the outs of how buisness ran and what was required of me. Once I saw what it took to be a buisness owner I knew I would have to out work then in order to be able to survive as a small business owner.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a dog trainer and fitness trainer. I help dogs who come from bad background have another chance with life. From aggression to reactivity to as little as potty training. I do just about everything in order to make sure all dogs are given a chance at a happy life with their owners. With fitness training I do everything from 1 on 1 to, nutrition coaching, to online coaching I have a passion for fitness and I love helping others reach their fitness goals.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Number one I would say be an expert in your field you’re going in.
Number two know payment processors inside and out.
Number three know the legal system.
Number four know when to give yourself a break.
Number 5 know who needs to stay in your circle and know who needs out of your circle.
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
My mentor Aaron. He has taught me so much from how payment processors work, to legal issues, to taxes. From the beginning I couldn’t have down it without him and I still to this day continue to go to my mentor to continue my constant need to grow. If at ever I couldn’t get ahold of my mentor I always go to YouTube as a second resort.
