Meet Zaira Iman

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Zaira Iman. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Zaira, thank you so much for making time for us. We’ve always admired your ability to take risks and so maybe we can kick things off with a discussion around how you developed your ability to take and bear risk?

I have a deep love for newness and I’ve always been a person that seeks the unknown. I have a curious mind that has lead me down a winding road of mistakes and wins. I believe this is because I love all things that are unconventional and go against the grain of what society deems as “normal.” To me, taking a risk is the best way to discover new things about yourself. Through my journey of trial and error I’ve learned that taking a risk is the cheat code to self growth, whether the risk is good or bad. The end result will always be a valuable lesson learned.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m a painter with a love for creating art. I’m a self taught artist that began drawing as a kid and continued drawing into my adulthood. It eventually lead to me picking up a paint brush and learning how to paint portraits. Art quickly became a way for me to build connections by using this gift to recreate special moments for others. This year (2025) I’ve made connections from New Jersey to California through creating art. I’ve also taken the time to explore my other passion, real estate. I became a realtor in NJ in 2025 and have hit the ground running every since. Each lane has allowed for me to build connections while adding value.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Resilience, Creativity, and Self awareness. These three qualities have been the foundation to my journey and have given me the bravery to face any circumstance with unwavering strength and self confidence. These core principles are key to the journey of success because they are going to help you adapt to unexpected challenges, circumstances, and environments. If you keep these three things in mind, you will always win.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I would love to collaborate with like minded people who have a platform and a supportive community! I’m looking to surround myself with entrepreneurs that are supportive, passionate and knowledgeable about their fields. I am looking to work on artistic and media projects that will have an impact and will allow for travel. If you would like to collaborate, you can find me on Instagram: @Z.Imanbaker
