We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Zé. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Zé below.
Zé, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
Definitely from my dad. He always taught me to hustle and strive to be the best I can be. I also learned from people like Jay-Z and Nipsey. They came from the bottom and made it to the top. That’s motivational

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m an artist and a business man. But being an artist is the best feeling. A lot of times I am not really an open book. Someone has to ask me deep questions and then I will share. I feel like when I am in the studio, it’s therapy. I let all my emotions go on a song without someone having to ask me these questions. That’s what makes music so special. By the way, get that Purple Dreamz album! Dropping November 21st! It’s so many different type of vibes on there.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Persistence, confidence, and learning to perfect your craft. You only get better if you continuously work at it. Don’t get discouraged. The bumps in the road is all part of the journey. Learn from them and become better. Purple Dreamz November 21st!

Do you think it’s better to go all in on our strengths or to try to be more well-rounded by investing effort on improving areas you aren’t as strong in?
Focus on one thing first and master it’ you have to find your niche. That is what will define you, your brand, or whatever it is you are trying to do. Once you master that and it becomes one’s second nature, then you can venture out and master other things. I think people nowadays get so confused on what they want to do. Once they try something and it doesn’t work right away, they give up and try the next thing. Never give up! Master the first goal you are trying to reach and then keep mastering other things. But never give up. You are closer than you think. Giving up will only leave you with regrets down the line. You do not want to live your life with regrets
