Meet Zoe Cope

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Zoe Cope a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Zoe, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I think my purpose found me as much as I found it. I’ve been an entrepreneur for over a decade, and along the way, I’ve worked closely with other entrepreneurs across industries like jewelry design, fashion, studio management, event planning, social media, advertising, production coordinating, and styling. That journey gave me a front-row seat to the highs, lows, and in-betweens of building something from the ground up. Over time, I realized that what lit me up the most wasn’t just the doing—it was helping others feel seen, heard, and confident in their own paths.

Now, as a brand designer, I get to pull from this really varied skill set, blending everything I’ve learned into creating brand worlds that feel authentic and alive for my clients. My purpose feels rooted in supporting other entrepreneurs, and for the past five years, brand world-building has been the outlet where that purpose shines. There’s nothing better than seeing someone light up when their brand’s visuals finally reflect who they are—and watching how that transformation naturally draws the right people into their orbit.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Right now, I’m focused on expanding how I support entrepreneurs through brand world building. For years, my work has been centered around custom 1:1 branding projects, which I absolutely love because of the deep, transformative process it offers. But I also know that not every entrepreneur is ready for—or needs—that level of bespoke work. That’s why I’m excited to be launching Launch-Ready Brands, a collection of pre-designed brand worlds that are thoughtfully crafted, strategic, and ready for business owners to make their own. It’s a way to make high-quality branding more accessible without compromising on the magic.

I’m also working on a self-led workshop called The Stellar Brand Discovery. It’s designed to help entrepreneurs (or anyone developing a personal brand) connect with their brand’s core ethos by uncovering meaningful keywords and learning how to use those as a framework for both messaging and visuals. I’ve seen how transformative it can be when people gain clarity about who they are and how they want to show up—and this workshop is all about guiding them to that clarity in a way that feels empowering and creatively energizing.

At the heart of it all, my work is about helping people feel aligned, confident, and seen through the lens of their brand. Whether it’s through custom design, Launch-Ready Brands, or self-led exploration, I’m here to make sure entrepreneurs have the tools they need to build brands that not only look beautiful but feel deeply authentic.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, three qualities have really shaped my journey: adaptability, strategic creativity, and a holistic perspective.

First, adaptability has been a constant driver of growth. I’m someone who is comfortable pivoting when things shift—whether it’s a change in the industry, client needs, or my own interests. Instead of seeing slowdowns as setbacks, I’ve learned to view them as invitations to explore new avenues. That mindset has kept my work fresh and helped me evolve across industries, from jewelry design to brand strategy. My advice for anyone early in their journey is to stay curious and flexible. The path you start on might not be the one you stick with, and that’s not just okay—it’s part of the process.

Second, being a strategic creative has allowed me to balance both the practical and the magical. My background spans everything from production coordinating to art and creative direction, so I’ve had to think both logistically and conceptually. This mix helps me approach branding with both structure and soul. If you’re looking to develop this, practice zooming in and out—focus on the details, but always pull back to see how they fit into the bigger picture.

Lastly, I’d say my holistic approach is something that sets my work apart. Even when I’m designing a brand, I’m thinking beyond visuals—how does it feel? What’s the texture of the print materials? How do we create an emotional thread between something like a business card and the client onboarding process? On the surface, those might seem like completely separate touchpoints, but they’re both part of the same brand experience. I believe brands aren’t just seen; they’re felt. For anyone wanting to cultivate this, consider not just how your work looks, but how every interaction makes people feel—from the first click on your website to the moment someone holds your packaging in their hands. That emotional continuity is where the magic lives.

If I had to sneak in a bonus, it’s my love for wordplay—I can’t resist a good pun. It might seem niche, but it’s a reminder that bringing your quirks into your work adds authenticity. And honestly, a well-timed pun has saved more than one creative brainstorm.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

Over the past 12 months, my biggest area of growth has been learning how to show up in new ways—not just for myself but for the people I serve. Expanding beyond custom 1:1 branding projects to create offerings like Launch-Ready Brands and The Stellar Brand Discovery has been a shift that challenged me to think differently. How do I distill the depth and transformation of personalized brand work into something that’s accessible to more entrepreneurs while still feeling meaningful and personal? That question has helped me grow while redefining how I create connection and impact.

Another transformative experience has been stepping into public speaking, especially around the importance of personal branding. It was a real stretch because I’m so used to working behind the scenes—helping others find their voice and shape their message. Standing in front of a room and sharing my experiences felt vulnerable but incredibly rewarding. What surprised me was how universal some of those fears and questions are—this applies if you’re starting your business or if you’re years into your career journey. We all grapple with how to show up authentically and confidently.

What I’ve realized through both of these experiences is that growth isn’t just about what changes for me—it’s about how those shifts allow me to support others better. Whether through a workshop, a talk, or a brand world, my goal is always to create spaces where people feel seen, inspired, and empowered to own their unique story.
