Michelle Mumoli of Jersey City/Hoboken on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Michelle Mumoli shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Michelle, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
The beach
A good hang with friends
Truly connecting with people

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
For the past 12 years, I’ve had the pleasure of guiding people in their real estate journeys, helping them build generational wealth and running The Mumoli Collective, which I founded on the principals of delivering a truly tailored client experience. My business is also 99% referrals from past clients and a very close-knit network of trusted professionals. We are always working on new and amazing projects with builders, buyers, sellers, designers and anyone who wants to experience a level of client service unlike any other.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Trust. It’s a word that gets thrown around a lot, to really trust someone in any capacity, but specifically when you are dealing with client’s hard-earned money, is something that only gets built through reputation and that reputation takes years to build and can be broken through within seconds in my business.

Do you remember a time someone truly listened to you?
This goes back to trust. New agents that have trained under me, who have trusted the process and followed my systems, have become extremely successful. The same with clients who take my advice, they are overjoyed with their results.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
I am exactly the same person you see in the world. I’m true to myself and I want those around me to always be true to who they are.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What are you doing today that won’t pay off for 7–10 years?
That’s a question we just don’t know do we? Who we are inspiring in this world and what grows out of the seeds we plant today.
