Moises Miranda Rodriguez of Sevilla on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Moises Miranda Rodriguez shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Moises, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
What makes me lose track of time and at the same time makes me feel completely free is the creative process of writing, because it involves delving into the depths of your inner world, in a genuine way and without masks, knowing yourself, without judgment, in an authentic and deep way, this makes me forget about the world around me, the usual thoughts that earthly life brings with it and pay attention to that deep and intangible part of myself.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a writer, I publish books of poems and deep reflections with a mystical and magical touch that always inspire the reader, I also have a podcast and a YouTube channel where I talk about art, spirituality and personal development, I use social networks to go against the current of what is considered conventional, spreading awareness about very necessary issues for human beings, but that are often forgotten, I have also created some rap songs with poetic and profound lyrics

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
I feel that over the last five years, I have shared a lot of awareness of deep, spiritual and unconventional knowledge, inspiring many people and transmitting ideas and feelings that have been beneficial to many others, this has made me feel satisfied and fulfilled in terms of my life purpose, because I dared to share my entire inner world with others and I feel that I have helped other people a lot and at the same time I have grown and evolved on an inner level, so I feel largely satisfied and that I am fulfilling my life purpose.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering, failure, and adversity have been great teachers in my life. First of all, they have made me realize the great resilience I have, the great capacity for renewal in the face of unfavorable situations, my great inner strength. However, it also teaches you to be a better human being and person. You understand and experience firsthand processes that others may also be going through, making you become more compassionate and empathetic. By understanding the dark and unpleasant side of life, you can better understand other people. This empathy also helps you nourish and improve your personal relationships with others.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I remain committed to what I have been doing up to this point, continuing to share good ideas, values and deep feelings through literature, art and public speaking in order to inspire others. Also after all this time I know that the journey is much more important than the destination, which is why I enjoy the processes.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
They would say that I was a kind-hearted person, who tried to help others and who never gave up in the face of difficulty, achieving great and lofty goals in his life and that despite this, he never got lost in the superficial and always valued what was truly important: love for oneself, love for others, gratitude and trust in God.
