Meet A.V.I.V

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to A.V.I.V. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

A.V.I.V, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I gotta give this one to my mom and my life experiences, my mom pushed me from a young age to do things, and even when I was shy she encouraged me to fight the ridiculous feeling I was feeling, even the little things like going to ask the person at the store for a discount, which might seem uncomfortable and embarrassing but you have to try and the fear in your head will see that it is not that bad. I can also say that confidence and self-esteem are built through action and mindset work.
when I was a kid and even now I keep myself in check, asking myself the questions people ask others, for example, “How do I look?” I realized that we have the answers within ourselves and feeling good about ourselves, making our own decisions about things will make us confident.
people don’t really care about us as much as we care to think they do. everyone is thinking about themselves and all you can do is make them smile, that’s the way I see it. and once I realized that I started to push myself out of my confort zone because that makes you confident, gives you freedom to be and do as you please
Evolving is realizing that being confident in yourself might not get you love from everyone but it will get you love from the right people for you.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Hi everyone, I am A.V.I.V singer-songwriter and music producer based in LA, originally from Israel. I make several genres of music at the moment but at the end of the day I make Acoustic-Pop and Dance-Pop
I want to take you with me on a ride, getting into the darkest and deepest corners of my brain and let you feel like you can shed your leaves (Acoustic- Pop) and someone to dance and Bloom with (Dance-Pop). (my logo is flowers)

At the moment I have started a load of new releases after a few months of preparation, I have released a new single called “FOR YOU” on April 5th which talks about start doing things out of love for yourself, sharing my story, deciding to finally pursue my passion for music after years of trying to put it aside so that I could do what others thought was right for me.

besides that I am preparing for the release of my upcoming single called “Pain Away” while working on multiple different projects which include completing my Acoustic-Pop EP .
Other future planned releases are related to my big move to Los Angeles, in which I open up about fear of being forgotten in one of the songs in the EP called ‘Please’ which gives a delicate warm fuzzy feeling to a very hurting subject.
Since forever, music has been the only thing that never let me down, it keeps my spark alive. I grew up playing some instruments, but it wasn’t until later on that I realized that music is what I’m going to do for the rest of my life, music is who I am.

As a teen, I found my sanctuary in writing poetry and songwriting. It was and still is a safe place to express my deepest emotions and thoughts and it still is one of the biggest things I am passionate about in music.

I am currently developing my artist repertoire in LA while ensconced in my craft. Working on new music that will be driven to a bigger release, collaborating with other artists, working on my social media presence and performing weekly at different venues.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
qualities: discipline, determination and healthy mindset will get you far, no matter which path you choose to take. The fact that I proved to myself I could be good at things I didn’t care about prepared me to push, learn and grow discipline to be able to believe I could do what I love in life.
and that’s the advice I would give, if you want it bad enough be brave enough to believe in yourself and do it, no matter what it takes (as long as it sits straight with your values) and it is all about enjoying the journey not the destination.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I am at this point in my journey as an artist that I know who I am and who I want to be, I am looking for Acoustic-Pop producers and songwriters who like and make music like Adele’s, Lizzy McAlpine’s, Sam Tompkins’s and more in that genre. or Dance-Pop music like Meduza, Bunt. ,Imanbek and more in that genre as well.
I am looking for People who are responsible, disciplined and who are willing to walk to long road if we match, people who are creative and see eye to eye with me, who will put the music and the projects we make first.
if you think you might be a good match here is my Instagram link https://www.instagram.com/aviv.kuan/
and there is a link to my music if you want to hear my voice.
Thank you
