Meet Ada Nei

We recently connected with Ada Nei and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Ada, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Self esteem and confidence did not come easy for me. Growing up I didn’t feel safe to speak up. School was extremely competitive and shame and even physical discipline were practiced for misbehaving. I was that kid who would do their best to avoid attention. Being thin was the beauty standard culturally, and there was so much social pressure to fit into the molds. For a very long time I didn’t have the language to express my fears and frustrations, nor the tools to debunk those beliefs. Decades of trapped emotions wreaked havoc on my physical and mental health. I pretended things were fine but I was wilting inside. Despite it all, deep down I am hopeful to get better. It took a couple wake up calls for me to finally take charge of my well being. Through a series of energy healing and coaching, I learned to love and value myself again. I found the courage to leave a career that I was unhappy in, ended a karmic relationship, and healed from a long battle with an eating disorder. No more living small and giving away our power! Do I still experience some fear and doubts? Sure, but they are short lived because now I have the awareness and resources to manage these emotions as they arise.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I advocate on self love through breathwork meditation, reiki, and sound healing. When our inner garden is well nourished, we become more available for our loved ones and more resilient to the external circumstances around us. There is more than enough room for everyone to blossom. My hope is to inspire and empower people to live their truth and to feel comfortable being themselves. We all have the innate ability to heal ourselves. Most of the time we have the answers to our questions but our ego, aka the brain chatter, clouds the access to our inner wisdom. The energy healing I offer is a wonderful practice to quiet the mind and to release any stuck energy in the body that we are subconsciously holding on to, renewing and revitalizing our heart, body, and mind connection.

I offer monthly breathwork and sound bath gatherings. Each one is created for the specific energy of the month, and the messages I receive intuitively. I also offer these potent healing modalities for those who prefer to work with me one on one, including Reiki crystal energy alignment healing sessions. Each one of these healing tools shines in their own way and what I love about them is they also work wonderfully together. I’m planting lots of seeds next year and I can’t wait to share them with you! Follow me on social and check out my website to stay up to date on current offerings.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Curiosity, courage, and resilience. My insatiable appetite for knowledge drives me to continue learning and growing. There are many magical tools that can potentially help us on our journey. If something sounds intriguing, why not lean into it to see if it’s for you? The more I expand, the greater capacity I can hold space for others. And it’s very exciting to share information that I found helpful with others. Change takes courage and it can feel uncomfortable. But it can also be incredibly rewarding. When difficult emotion arises, take a sacred pause and breath. Remembering your whys and check in to see if they still align with your highest goods. Acknowledge the journey can be messy and there is beauty to it.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
I’m forever grateful to my family for allowing me to explore and follow my path. There are worries and some tough advice, especially when the terrain gets a bit rough, but I always feel the support and know that it is all rooted in love.
