Amber, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I believe I got my work ethic from my mom and dad. They both worked full time and had a lawn care business and cleaning services my mon even made gift baskets and she would go out and sell all of them she would make so many and would never come home with any they instilled in me to be very persistent goal driven and god fearing.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Hello, I provide locs and braid services and I specialize in Natural loc care.

Right now the most exciting thing that has happened in my business is going viral on tik tok hot 1.2mil on 1 video and getting 10.5k followers as well I’m excited to see where the journey takes me never expected something like that.

My focus with my clients hair is first to always make sure to maintain the health and promote hair growth and secondly to make sure you leave loving everything about your service.

Right now I do have a hair oil that promotes hair growth and also a hair butter that promotes hair growth used to seal the moisture and keeps hair feeling nice and soft.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
My top three things I feel helped me grow would be, patience with myself, having great customer service,& always remaining teachable.

Having patience with myself allowed me to learn what I needed to focus on with my business and becoming neater and efficient with my work and celebrating the big and small accomplishments.

I believe customers service is key always having good communication being clear and punctual with everything.. Being a genuine and caring person goes a long way.

Remaining teachable is key you can never know to much and you can never know everything always take time to teach yourself new tricks and ways.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
I would say have to say the most important book that has played a major role in my entire life would have to be the Bible if honestly has helped learn how to treat other, what company to keep, and what company to not keep.

It applies to my business as well because it teaches me to have great customer service and communication, how to deal with other and conflict, and overall just treating people good and making them feel good
