We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful AMI- LA. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with AMI- below.
Hi AMI-, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
Wow.
I would say my resilience comes from God and from the strength of my family. I believe that trusting in God during difficult times is a key aspect of resilience, it helps me stay grounded and focused on what’s truly important. Additionally, having a strong network of family and friends who believe in me and support me no matter what has been incredibly helpful in building my resilience. This music is much bigger than me; it’s not about me; it never was. It’s always been about God and saving those who are lost through the lyrics given to me by the Holy Spirit.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I believe that music has the power to touch hearts and bring people closer to God.
I’m excited to share that I recently released a new song called “Homeless.” This song is a unique blend of pop rock and contemporary gospel, offering a fresh sound that is unexpected in the gospel music genre. The inspiration for this song came to me through a vision, where I saw a woman in a homeless state, but what I felt was her heart. It made me realize that this song is about the heart of a person and how, regardless of the tribulations they may face, God is always there, knowing their heart and never leaving or forsaking them. “Homeless” is the key to Jesus, a reminder that He is always with us, even in our darkest moments.
“Homeless” is not only a song about faith and hope for a better tomorrow, but also a reminder that there is light at the end of the tunnel. It carries a message of comfort and reassurance that God deeply cares for each individual. I believe that this song will resonate with listeners and provide them with a sense of solace and inspiration.
I’m thrilled to announce that “Homeless” is now available on all major music platforms. I encourage everyone to give it a listen and experience the unique blend of pop rock and gospel.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
1. Be true to yourself: Embrace your uniqueness and avoid comparing yourself to others. Recognize that everyone has their own path and journey. Focus on your own strengths, talents, and passions. This self-awareness will help you stay authentic and true to yourself. Surround yourself with people who support and encourage your individuality.
2. Stay focused and determined: Set clear goals and stay committed to them. Develop a plan and break it down into smaller, achievable steps. Stay organized and prioritize tasks to avoid distractions. When faced with challenges or setbacks, remind yourself of your purpose and why you started in the first place. Persevere and maintain a positive mindset.
3. Never give up: Remember that success often comes with obstacles and failures. Embrace these experiences as opportunities for growth and learning. Cultivate resilience and develop the ability to bounce back from setbacks. Trust in yourself and in the journey. Keep going, even when things get tough.
*Never EVER give up! Keep going, if God said you’re destined for greatness believe it!
