Meet Ana Rondón

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ana Rondón a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Ana, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?
I grew up in a Christian space where generosity and compassion were one of the signs of love towards others, in the same way I lived that generosity at home.

My mother works doing social work with low-income people, which made me aware of how lucky each of us is, and at the same time, see that not everyone has the same possibilities.

“There is no greater love than that which gives one’s life for one’s friends”

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I studied marketing, which has given me the tools to have a better vision of how businesses work, however what I am also passionate about is education and dissemination, which led me to create “Proyecto Verdeo” a project that seeks development of environmental awareness for a world in harmony.

We share knowledge about plants and animals, provide environmental education workshops and carry out actions that help preserve our planet.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I’m still looking for which of them all, but I’m encouraged by them 3: – Learn to listen to others.
– Not judge
– Discipline
My advice would be to be disciplined people and give each day its own purpose with love and a lot of understanding, understand that each thing is part of the path and that persevering for what we want, working every day is what makes the difference between people. who says he wants something but does nothing for it.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
When I feel that way, wh.at I do is think that “it’s just a moment and not my entire life.” I begin to breathe deeply and understand that everything passes and nothing lasts forever
