We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Aneudy (Alex) Martinez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Aneudy (Alex), we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I get it from understanding that standing still, will not allow me to get to the next level and that the field laid out in front of me by God is meant for me to play it based on the lessons I’ve earned throughout my existence as of yet.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I do custom apparel, tshirt printing, media printing (banners, stickers, and other marketing items), Sales training, tshirt making classes, embroidery classes, business marketing solutions, individual business mentorship, Facebook marketing classes, e-commerce website creation, business marketing evaluation, and a POS provider agent.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
– Business is a marathon/ slash obstacles course, not a race.

-Understanding the flow of direction. How and when does consistency applies,(Why things are working or not working for you).

-If business hunger doesn’t keep you from sleeping right at night, then you’re in the wrong field.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
-never makes things easy for me because they could.

-tell me no

-teach me how to self assess myself, my situation and those around me.

-help me learn and understand that I’m the backup and nobody is coming to help me but God on his time. And that in the mean time I have to keep my head above water.
